We travel to Bandung every year, and each year, we change hotels, and this year we stay at Ivory Hotel. When I first booked the hotel, I didn’t think much about the location, my train of thought was just, “This hotel is within walking distance to RUI, I’ll just book it.” But I never thought that this is going to be my new favourite hotel in Bandung. This hotel is located quite near to most of our favourite cafes and restaurants and in a quiet neighborhood. The check-in process was frictionless, the staff were kind and responsive, they were even helping with our luggage without being asked to. We got early check-in and upgraded to the Junior Suite, which is a nice gesture from the staff. The room is quite nice, spacious, clean, with ample amenities, and a big and wide window. The breakfast, even though the varieties were limited, was very good. Even my wife liked their porridge the best among other hotels we have stayed in, which is a huge praise from her. The cafe downstairs had a good coffee, and a nice place to sit and chat with your loved ones. In short, I'm recommending this hotel to my friends, colleagues, and family for their next trip to Bandung. Sadly the water pressure in the toilet wasn't strong enough, but not a dealbreaker for me. My wife personally didn't like the pillows as they were too soft.

The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. Kettle and fridge in the room. Friendly staff. Breakfast was included but it was not a buffet because of Ramadan. The breakfast choices were very limited if you did not want an Indonesian breakfast. However, the staff was very nice in trying to accommodate us after one of us got sick. The area carpet in the bedroom is a mistake and very dusty. On one day the one of the towels was badly ripped and worn. The comforter cove4 was also worn out.

The noise. They were renovating so there was hammering sounds until 4pm which mase taking a nap impossible. At night, there was a loud buzzing sound on and off from outside (probably the next room AC exhaust fan) and one of our rooms had an AC that sounds loud when switched on.

The location was near places to eat, shops, walking distance to good cafe and local eatery which I love (Kupat Tahu Gempol) and in the morning its very quiet if you want to jog and lost your thoughts in old Bandung vibe The staff was very kind and attentive, they helped us with getting our bags down and we brought an O2 since we were traveling with an elder. The room was really spacious for Deluxe room and still enough to fit 1 add bed too. It was very clean ? The location was a bit difficult to find especially at night since it was covered with parking from the cafe (Everjoy) and the parking basement was also tight for SUV typed cars. If you are traveling with an elder (my dad was 80) this might not be the right place since to reach the lobby and from lobby to the mezanine floor where the lift is we have to take the stairs (no lift from Basement to lobby).

All - The Room and its amenities - the room were clean and tidy .. i was surprissed - once check in they upgrade my room from Superior to Deluxe! what a great surprise ?❤️They sent a birthday cake to my room - I love this personal touch make Yvory got higher Rank from me - compare other surrounding Hotels. The location so perfect - so many nice and good cafe and many favorites resto nearby. The staff so kind and very nice. Also there is a cafe Everjoy attach to this Hotel with superb menu and taste fabolous. BF also served in this cafe , absolutely the menu variation and taste is guaranted . Will come and stay here again ?

Location is superb. Everything is walking distance : cafe, breakfast outlets, supermarket, massage place etc. Shower head wasnt working properly. Lighting are not evenly situated in the room.

Value for money. Convenient The property is a little old, maintenance is so-so.

Been staying here for work trips repeatedly, good location, great breakfast and cafe downstairs, spacious and modern. Good shower. Friendly staffs, great value for money. The bath towels need to change on a couple of stays.
