The Residence Resort

The property was beautiful and totally met our expectations. The pool was a really good size, the rooms were all well proportioned and the whole place was so clean and beautifully presented. Nothing except internet connection was intermittent.

The residence felt more like an Airbnb than a traditional resort, as the neighbours were not guests and there was no reception area. That said, the staff were easy to communicate with and very helpful whenever we had questions. The property is a bit of a walk to get in and out of, so it would be more convenient for those with scooters or cars. However, it’s still possible to walk to the beach and the main bars and restaurants in about 20 minutes.

Staff. Clean. equipment. pool and price. The location was as expected but make sure you do your research specific to your requirements.

The place and staff were really nicethat, everything was fine. cutting the tree at 9am on Sunday is a bit annoying

Very good staff - Oppo was very helpful. Sometimes a few cockroaches inside the villa.

The place is awesome. Very professional housekeeping. They have 3-4 people for cleaning at the same time. They clean the house properly, using steam for sofa and bed. The pool on the back yard is fantastic. I want to say big thanks to their staff: Jessica, Opo and driver Jin, who was helpful in any question that I had. They helped me to find activities that I like, researched for the tours and places in the internet. Those people are sincere and responsive. You can order food delivery or something from the supermarket by Grab application and the delivery man will bring it to your villa directly if you specify the villa number in the address. It’s a bit far from the beach but they provide free transfer many times a day.

Beautiful rooms, really lovely and helpful manager. I loved my little private pool and loved how private my villa helped. Manager was sooo good at making me feel welcome and comfortable and did her best to help me anytime I reached out to her for anything. Loved that irs close to a tesco and night market. Housekeeping came by everyday and refilled my room with water bottles. Loved the complimentary fruit and snacks I think it would be nice if they reopened their restaurant/spa!

Exceptional

The staff at The Residence are wonderful, happy to help whenever they can. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Sleep quality was great as the area was very quiet. The location is half way between the main road and the beach so it's a bit of a walk to both. Unfortunately, like all places across the world The Residence has a staff shortage, which means the restaurant, spa and gym are no longer available to guests.
