I stayed at A One Bangkok for 7 days in Room 1122, and I had a wonderful experience overall. I really enjoyed the beautiful view, the room facilities, and the amenities provided. The housekeeping team did an excellent job, the front office staff were always helpful and professional, and the security team consistently greeted guests with warm smiles, which made me feel very welcome. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience and appreciate the hospitality provided by the team. Thank you! I only have one concern regarding the breakfast service. Although breakfast is available until 10:00 AM, some of the staff, both FOH and BOH, seemed to rush guests by cleaning the dining area well before the closing time. In particular, the staff at the egg station appeared impatient, which made us feel slightly uncomfortable while having breakfast. I would also suggest maintaining more consistent food quality from day to day, as there were noticeable differences during my stay.

The staff was very friendly, well dressed and extremely professional. The lobby was well done and comfortable. We didn’t eat breakfast, but the dinner options were good. The bed is much too firm for more than a few days stay. Terrible WiFi. Too slow for iPad or phone connection. We have unlimited data so the worst part was the gloomy very dimming lit bathroom. When looking in the mirror There are two dim bulbs behind you so your reflection is in the shadows but there is an accent light BEHIND the mirror. Go figure. I called the desk and complained and asked if the bulbs could be replaced. They sent a guy up, but but he said there’s nothing he could do. Room 1104

They have 24 hour restaurant service. The washroom was a little old fashioned.

Clean, modern and very good staff. Very happy with the room. Was disappointed that that gym and pool were closed for renovation. This was not mentioned at the time of booking.

I have previously used this hotel due to proximity to nearby Bangkok Hospital. This time I would not be visiting the hospital but booked the hotel for a one-night family stay anyway due to room size, price and having an excellent gym facility. Sadly when I went to the 5th floor to use the gym on exiting the elevator I was met by a dusty cement floor. At first I thought I had arrived in the basement by mistake and I re-entered the elevator to check. Sure enough I was on the 5th floor and when I looked through the darkness (it was early evening) I could see the silhouette of what had once been the gym area. The floor had literally been gutted back to bare cement walls and floor. No partition walls, nothing left. I went to Reception and asked 'Has the gym been moved?' The answer was 'The gym is Closed.' I said 'No. Not closed. GONE.' I complained that there should be something on the website or when people book to inform them of this. Or at least inform guests when they check in. Sadly will not be using A One again unless need to be near the hospital.

The swimming pool They gave us small rooms that were not described as a picture. They changed the room after one week after I confronted them. They wanted to charge us 2500 Baht for a bed sheet that was marked with pen, which they lied us that they had tried to wash it away. When we demanded them to give us the bed sheet, they came two people to our room, one taking video and one with the sheet that was not washed at all. We washed it with our hand and pen mark was easily away. We told the manager that it is rude to treat customers like that and they apologized. These people wants us to take our money by lying. I will never book the same hotel again.

Only if you have to go to Bangkok Hospital and you are in a group tours, the location works. If you are individual traveler, the location is not convenient to access to the BTS. We did not take breakfast at hotel. Room is good and clean. The Bed is comfortable. The Airconditioning is very noisy. The bathroom is not good for the elderly people because its floor is lower than the room's floor. The pillow is too hard. The corridor floor boards are lifting. It could cause an accident. The hotel is under renovation around the escalator. They should have put more signs of "danger" to warn the guests not to trip and fall.
