Lots of character. Great location, quiet. Feels like he me

Amazing hospitality! I really enjoyed the quiet and secure environment. It was so pleasant to come back after a long day of exploration and relax in my cool room, which was so clean, aesthetically pleasing, private, and comfortable. Not applicable. I honestly have no complaints and had an enjoyable stay! It was everything I could've hoped for, and I hope to come back someday!

Being it was my first time in Thailand, I wanted to be as organic as possible. The place was immaculate in presentation. The area was filled with homeless and was a dark, lonely walk for a solo traveler after dinner or sightseeing.

Location is perfect, walking distance from real palace, and other attractions. I The hotel is an ancient Thai house which has been renovated and finished in Thai style. There is no break fast while I have seen there is breakfast service. Bathroom has a slightly open wall which mosquito comes inside the room The ceiling of the room is wooden so when there is guest in that room you hear noisy also when they walk.

The host was very kind and helpful. It was pretty cool stay in a traditional style house. Details matter. The down side to a traditional house is the noisy floors.

Baan Nappawong was absolutely gorgeous! They allowed me to store my luggage upon early arrival and the hosts were so gracious and accommodating. The suit was beautiful and well decorated, and I loved the bath! The location was excellent as well, within walking distance to several attractions.

As an African American traveler who was very excited to stay in Bangkok. I chose this hotel. I felt that it was a nice traditional Thai hotel. Little did I know that after checking in. I made the wrong choice. But I put negative thoughts aside and stayed. I was disappointed, but I needed a place to stay after riding the train for 12hrs.from Chiang Mai to Bangkok. If this hotel has issues with people of color, they should let be known that they reserve the right to differentiate. Never again. Thank you.

Everything All was fabulous
-
The most wonderful little oasis in downtown Bangkok, perfectly situated near many walkable areas of the city and yet quiet!
-
The rooms were a little small

Tucked away feels out of the city. I heard more birds than cars. Staff was friendly with excellent service.

The hostess made our stay absolutely wonderful. She is thoughtful, friendly and makes you feel welcome and at home. Baan Noppawong was an oasis after a busy day in the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. Baan Noppawong is in a rough part of old town Bangkok, however we always felt safe. The mattress was also a little hard.

The personal touch, the location, being in an Tai house fills worm compared to cold modern hotels
-
Beautifully restored 19th century traditional Thai home and very well appointed. The manager was wonderful - very helpful and pleasant. Relatively close proximity to major sites.

I love this place!!!

I had a very good stay at Baan Nappawong. Although it is located next to a large and busy street, the surroundings are surprisingly quiet, and the hotel feels like an oasis in the bustling center of Bangkok. The building is beautiful, and the room was nice. However, since the house is old, you can hear other guests walking above you or talking in the lobby quite well (my room was next to the lobby). Despite this, the stay was enjoyable and I would recommend this hotel. The host was very kind and helpful, offering great recommendations for local spots, restaurants, and cafés nearby. The location is excellent for visiting Bangkok’s must-see temples and the Grand Palace in the Old Town. Most of these attractions are within a 20-minute walk.

Very pretty hotel in central location, friendly staff

Small , authentic with helpful staff and the rooms are very tastefully done. Location is perfect in the old town. Nothing to mention

This was our first stay in southeast asia, and we couldn't have been happier with it. Located in a beautiful restored historic home tucked away on an alley, this was a peaceful place to recharge from jet lag and then from busy days of exploring Bangkok. Walking distance (around 20 minutes) to the river and the water ferry that stops at some of the major sites. Hotel staff is warm and helpful--there are some great restaurants right nearby. Highly recommended! The shower was a bit funky--hardware was broken so it sprayed at an odd angle. Hopefully that's been fixed by now.
