Location was good, was clean, staff was very nice and accommodating when we got in super late. The bed was rock hard, and the first floor smelled kind of weird but might have only been because they were doing construction. Unsure. But biggest complaint about this place was that the bed was rock hard

This hostel had more of a guesthouse vibe and was pretty quiet throughout my 4 night stay. I rarely ran into anyone aside from the cleaning staff. It was in a great neighborhood (perfect for foodies), well connected via public transport (bus, MRT, SRT). When present, the staff were so helpful and kind. The cold (and hot) drinking water was a nice touch, as were the free snacks and bananas. The A/C in the room worked well. My room on the 4th floor had a mild ant problem to start. The staff took care of it right away and even offered to let me switch rooms. The ants went away after a day. While it feels inconvenient, I can understand why eating in the rooms is prohibited. The WiFi in my room was a bit spotty, but it worked fine on the ground floor. Depending on who your neighbors are, you may be hearing the unlocking/shutting of doors quite a bit.

I really enjoyed my stay at Banthat Thong Hostel. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff were always friendly and ready to help, which made the whole experience even better. The hostel was kept very clean—both the rooms and common areas were well-maintained, which made it easy to relax and feel comfortable. One of the best things about staying here is the location. Banthat Thong is known for its food, and just a short walk from the hostel you’ll find endless options, from authentic Thai street food to international dishes. The staff even recommended some of their favorite local spots, and thanks to that I got to try some really amazing meals.

the location is great easy to travel and traveling around the area is convenience. The room card is a bit off. I attempted to tab a few times to open the door room.

I looooooved my one night stay here ? Not only because our room got upgraded with windows, but especially because of how warm the staff welcomed and accommodated us ? I also loved how the area is very peaceful and accessible even after shopping alone at 2am lol. Would definitely come back again ! ?

Staff is pretty nice, she is cute and friendly . The place are clean as expected and location is great for visit Banthat thong. The lighting in my room is a bit dark, I prefer more lighting it would be perfect.

I had a great stay at BANTHATTHONG HOSTEL! It’s incredibly affordable, and the rooms are both clean and spacious. While there’s no public elevator, they do have a staff elevator, so if you ask, they’ll help you get your luggage to your floor, which was super convenient. The hostel also offers laundry machines for just 50 baht, with free detergent included. There’s a dryer available, but if you prefer, you can hang your clothes on the top floor, where there’s space for that. The shared bathrooms and showers are kept clean, and there are restrooms located in the lobby, as well as on the 3rd and 4th floors, separated by men and women. On our first night, we got to join a free food walking tour, which was a fantastic experience, though I’m not sure if it’s offered every night. They also have snacks available for guests, which is a nice touch. The location is great — about a 15-minute walk from the blue line MRT, and there are tuk-tuks right outside if you prefer not to walk. A 7/11 is just a 4-minute walk away, and in the evening, the area comes alive with lots of food options, almost like a new Chinatown vibe. Overall, I would definitely recommend BANTHATTHONG HOSTEL if you’re staying in Bangkok! It’s a clean, affordable, and friendly place to stay.

The hostel is clean and, despite its proximity to the Banthat Thong road, it's quiet and calm. The staff is very friendly and always helpful.
