Bunkbed hostel

Bunk beds room was nice Out of any place I’ve ever stayed at this place had the rudest guests. The common areas on the first floor was very cluttered. The staff situation was a little weirdo They were nice but also a group of them all just hung out the entire time and took over the common areas. There also seems to be some type of other business being ran out of the common areas where they had a bunch of giant bags taking of the space in addition to the other clutter.

The location is very good. Near all the malls. It’s about ten minutes walk from central world. The hostel is very dirty, the bed sheets were with a lot of stains and smelled bad. There is no hot water in the shower. The front door and the door to the dormitory itself were unlocked all the time. As a solo travel it feels very unsafe and uncomfortable.

After making a reservation they send you an automated message saying a few things including the fact that there's no check-in service after 10 p.m. During my check-in date, I had a massively bad day—in fact, it was probably my worst travel experience: I started at 5 a.m. in Eastern Australia, took two flights (both of them delayed due to weather), had a horrible time at airport security where I was treated really badly, and I couldn’t even eat the whole day. By the time I got to Bangkok, it was obviously late. As I was approaching 10 p.m., I started sending messages to the hostel and THERE WAS NO RESPONSE WHATSOEVER. Huge lack of communication. I even tried calling them (which cost me a fortune as I was using roaming service), but nothing. I decided to take a taxi instead of the train as I didn’t want to get there after 10 p.m.—I was really trying my best, as all I needed was a bed and a shower. I got scammed by the taxi, getting charged 600 THB, which is like twice the price of an actual taxi to the airport, only to get to the hostel literally just 5 minutes after 10 p.m., which apparently was enough reason to try and kick me out of there. I don’t know if it was the hostel’s owner, a manager, a cleaner or whatever, but she didn’t believe I had a reservation and was telling me to “go out.” After some minutes of trying my best to convince her, she let me in—but in a really bad mood and without explaining anything nor giving any instructions at all. So I had to figure out everything on my own, as I was literally scared of getting kicked out despite having paid all in advance with no cancellations or refunds. When getting new guests, you should WELCOME them. People might have had a bad time travelling—not to mention it’s really tiring—and you’re not only welcoming them to your accommodation but also to your country. You are literally representing Thailand at that moment, and in my case, it was my first time ever in the country.

The location was hard to find, especially in the dark.

It’s cheap and very accessible to Pratunam and other tourist sites. No slippers in the bathroom.

Location: only 300m to Ratchaprarop station to take ARL to the airport. About 700m to Big C Supercenter, 950m to Central World, 1.2km to Siam Paragon. It's a matchbox style house (only one window to the front of the house) with one dorm room per floor. Each floor has 2 toilets, 1 shower room and 1 shower+toilet room. It's a bit stuffy. The aircon stops from 12 midnight to 2am, there's a notice for that. It is not very hot during those 2 hours but is quite stuffy. I couldn't sleep.

Very clean. Great bathroom and facilities. Location is good. Towels for blankets!!?? Come on. That is too cheap. I was freezing at night. Not enough locker/storage space. Host was not hospitable and matter-of-fact with the rules. 2000k baht fine for breaking the rules on wearing shoes? Not even slippers/shower shoes. This is just stupid. Fines are less for smoking in hotel rooms. Just overall overcrowded. Suitable only for the backpacker on a shoestring budget.

Too many guests

staff clean the beds even its we haven't check out yet. They clean the room even there is still guest. we lost some of our things, charger, watch, and some valuables.

Worth the money. From Suvarnabhumi Airport Link, just take the Airport Link to Rachaprarop Station... The room cold, bed nice, bathroom always clean and dry. The living room very convenient. Kitchen also good. Microwave and eating utensils' there too, always remember to wash after using...??? Near Pratunam Market... We loved our stay at Bunkbed Hostel...Really a recommended place to stay... Surely we will come back again...??? ---

The aircon wasn't cooling enough the room have 14 beds and the aircon isn't cooling

- The property was really nice, my friend and I had an amazing stay. - The other girls that we shared the room was also respectful and nice. - There is this one lady whom helped us with things, she told us how to turn on heaters.. hair dryers.. she showed us everything. So we were grateful! (the lady was not a worker there. She was also someone who is staying there) - The rooms are cleaned everyday at around 12pm if not mistaken. I couldn’t really tell exactly bcs I’d already be out and about around 8am ?? if you wanna sleep in, go back to your country hahahah this is Thailand!!! Gotta wake up early and exploreeeee!!! - Beds are super private, curtains for every bed and no one will dare to sneak around your stuff. There are also lockers but you have to have your own padlock. - There was a tiny light but bright enough to shine, on every beds and there was also 1 socket on each bed so if you have multiple devices to charge, I suggest bringing a multi socket adapter thingy. - There was also 2 cabinet looking thing on every bed where you can store your stuff, it was spacious. I had put my makeup stuff, extra clothes (so I don’t have to crack open my luggage everytime because the spaces in between the opposite beds aren’t that big), and I had also put some snacks hahahah. - I was on bed 401 and it was the upper bunk bed. There is a lack of cleanliness because I peeked at the crannies of the bed and saw some hairs and dust. But other than that, we were given fresh towels. 1 big and another small. I used them not for drying myself after shower but as a bed cover and pillow cover bcs theres no bed and pillow sheets given. - On my first day, it took me 10 minutes to figure out how to turn on the shower nearest to the all-female bedroom (opposite the vanity) because the handle was broken. - The stairs were very steep so you have to be extra careful especially when carrying big luggages all the way to 4th floor/3rd floor I forgot haha. (girls only bedroom)

Very clean, super nice, quite They could invest in new shower hose. I was bit cold with very thin blanket and maybe to high AC, but you can't please everyone. With that said I would still come back

The beds were plastic and very hard and the blanket was a large towel. The female room is up on the top floor and the stairs are extremely large, steep, and slippery. There’s cameras in the bedrooms and outside of the showers/washrooms. There was a creepy man that kept following me trying to figure out where I was staying, to make things worse there are no locks on the doors so anyone can come into the rooms at anytime and there was no personal key cards to come and go out of the hostel so if the key went missing you were screwed. The staff were quite lazy and unwelcoming, there is a 10 year old boy that works there and he was the only one to help me out. There’s additional fees to absolutely everything.
