Good value and excellent location 10 minute walk from Kaosan Road No bar Although there was a bar across the road and the staff said you could bring drinks back and drink them upstairs by the pool of course you have 7-Eleven also

I was drawn in by the unique Arabic-style, which was unusual to find in a place like Bangkok, and it was very cozy, especially in the Khao San area. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The pool isn't huge, but it's still nice to swim in, and the pool area would work great for groups or families. The location is great and full of life, with temples nearby and a Muay Thai Stadium as well. The TV did not have smart features, so I had to get an HDMI cable to connect my laptop to it. The breakfast could be a bit better. The bacon was rubbery, and some of the hot food was a bit cold. You do get fresh-made omelet or fried eggs, though, so that's good. Still, this is probably the area I would improve first.

The rooms definitely need work and updating. One of the rooms had work done in it and the floor was all dirt and paint dust - though we were exhausted and didn’t bother tell the staff to clean it since it was for one night. The AC was very loud and the mattress in one of the rooms was rock solid. We didn’t end up sleeping well. It’s unfortunate that the restaurant closes at 3pm, cafe at 6pm and pool at 8pm.

Location is close to Khao San. Rooms like this were okay 5 years ago when they were $20, they have upped the prices but the value has not gone up. Standard tourist money grab in Thailand where they don't care, the walls haven't been wiped, ever. Corners of walls etc are all mouldy. Aircon sounds like a helicopter. Requirement of 2000thb cash deposit on check-in is very strange. It's 2026, shouldn't need to do this and is not common practice. They make you keep the deposit slip, if you lose it you lose your deposit.

Great location We were feeling good about our stay until checkout. We had a very early flight so began checkout and they sent someone to check the room before we got our 1000 baht deposit back. The person called down claiming a glass was missing. We said we didn’t use the glassware and did not break anything. We didn’t know if there was 2 when we checked in because why would we check that? They then showed us a price list to reimburse for the glass. We said again we didn’t do anything with the glass. It was very early and we needed to get to the airport so ended up paying the 100 baht for the glass. It left a very bad taste in our mouth and ruined the hotel experience

Staff was very helpful. The lady at the front desk also resolved a booking for our group - she called the venue and discussed all the details with them. The AC is rather loud so unless you are really tired, this might be an issue during the night. Breakfast was OK, but there was no cheese at all.

I liked the staff; they were very nice. I also liked how clean and updated the rooms were. It's in a great location, close to lots of amazing food, shopping for souvenirs, and within walking distance to the ferry. They also have a nice rooftop pool. I don't think the on-site breakfast is worth it unless you buy it as part of your package. I wish there were a tour desk onsite and an option for laundry. Also, because the area is so busy, there is an overwhelming number of tuk-tuk drivers trying to scam you. Do not be a victim.

The massage place on the ground floor is excellent! Easy walking distance to catch bus to ferry to Koh Kood or Koh Chang.

The location was perfect. Just behind all the activity on Khoasan Road and surrounds. The street was lively but not noisy, shops and massages right downstairs. The hotel itself is quirky and different, the decor nice and the staff lovely. Rooms are big with sufficient furniture etc. The rooftop pool is good for a lunchtime break. Good value and breakfast included. We had some weird mechanical sound in the middle of the night that turned on but got used to it and went back to sleep.

Rooms were clean. Had to pay a cash only deposit of 1000 baht, sign a declaration that I wouldn’t smoke weed in the room and then had to wait when I checked out until they went up to the room to see if stolen anything until I could get my room deposit back. I’ve never had that before in any other BKK hotel.

The room is very nice,spacious and clean. You have a safe and refrigerator. It’s very close to khao San and other markets around. The staff is very nice and welcomed us very good. There’s noise at night from the businesses outside. Really loud music but it gets quite around 1 am. Highly recommended to buy some earbuds. Also,the mattress is really hard but I guess it’s a matter of preference. There’s a pool in the hotel that I think is small and not really comfortable.
