Excellent hotel with a great location, clean and comfortable rooms, and outstanding service. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend it and would gladly stay here again. The Halal food is not available as per the staff when I asked the on the breakfast Buffy.

Marvelous place. The interior was enchanting, the staff was very attentive, made our stay very pleasant. The room was spacious, spotless so clean, facilities in the room and the hotel were up to date, contemporary. The food, breakfast were scrumptious.

After having experienced the Montien many times back in the late 80's - early 90s when it was an incredibly busy hotel, I stayed at the hotel almost 10 years ago and found it sadly to be a shadow of its former self. I have just spent a total of 7 nights at the hotel and WOW, I was so pleased to see the hotel having gone through a major renovation whilst retaining some of the original features. The hotel was once again busy, the restaurant offering breakfast was excellent, the staff were beyond fabulous and the facilities were great. A short walk to Sala Deang BTS, along with plenty of restaurants nearby. Will definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone! Only two things I would comment on. One being that the carpets in the rooms have been replaced with hard flooring, which means to you hear furniture being moved from the room above. Secondly, I was surprised that a hotel of this standard did not offer secure password protected WiFi.

The only disappointing part of my experience was related to my reservation. When I made the booking, it clearly included a complimentary airport taxi transfer. However, before my arrival, this benefit disappeared from my reservation without any explanation, and I was unable to use it. I had chosen this booking partly because of that included benefit, so it was frustrating to lose it unexpectedly. I hope Booking.com and the hotel can work together to ensure that promotional benefits shown at the time of booking are honored or, at the very least, that guests are informed in advance if any changes occur. Despite this issue, I enjoyed my stay and appreciate the hospitality provided by the hotel.

It is like coming home, I have frequented this hotel since my first travels to Thailand way back in 1979~80. It is so comforting to be welcomed by staff who have been there since that time and to be remembered and embraced in their warm welcoming manner Nothing all is perfect

This is a wonderful hotel in Bangkok, the staff are excellent and the room was very comfortable which was important for an extended work stay. The gym is excellent which encouraged me to go there, just as well as the breakfast buffet is enormous and very good quality - I particularly enjoyed the Thai omelettes, freshly prepared in front of you!

The staff were nice and friendly, the bellboy especially was smiling and kind. The location was great and also the lobby very comfortable. For the amount we paid we expected a bit higher level of facilities. The hall has a bad smell (floor 7)), maybe coming from the carpets. The bathroom was not the cleanest- shower area had some rubber parts coming off undone and it just felt a bit not well kept. Also I didn’t like their soaps and shampoo- all black charcoal soaps which were not to my taste.

Great location and very comfortable. Very nice breakfast. The person at the front desk seemed a little confused - wouldn’t let us into our room until after 2, even though it was already after 2. Sent our guests to the elevator without a key to let them up the elevator. Maybe the front desk person was learning.
