Novotel Bangkok Bangna

Breakfast had a good selection except that it catered mostly to Asian tastes. The Western selections were more limited and for a Novotel I was expecting a bit more. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom needed work. Water seeped out of the shower and was only prevented from spreading throughout the bathroom by the bathmat. Also the bath room doors would not close properly because the door needs to be repaired/replaced. Cleaning staff should be reporting these things to the management. And you are basically dependent on taxis to travel to most places.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable. The pool area was not very nice. Could have been more garden-like with wooden tiles or planks and definitely more plants and not so much concrete. It looked so empty. Breakfast was in general ok. Would have liked more variety in bread not only white bread. Did not notice that I could have had a freshly made filled omelette. Maybe this should be positioned more prominent. The location was very far out of the city center. The elevators were quite dangerous. The door closed far to quickly and hit you instead of opening straight away when someone was between the light barrier. Also the waiting time for an elevator was rather long considering there are 3 elevators and really not many people requesting them. Another thing is, I definitely would have preferred a walk in shower instead of climbing into a bathtub for showering each day!

Good breakfast. Helpful staffs. The location was really too far from everything. It is really isolated from the city and it will take you at least 1.5 - 2 hours to travel to central Bangkok during the morning.

Super nice pool and clean rooms. Very good option not too far from the airport. Nice food court in Parc Bangna 15min walk from the hotel.

The renovated room was good and the bed as very comfortable. We were initially placed in a very old room that was tattered and worn. Furniture was beat up and the toilet was leaking. After notifying the staff they moved us to a renovated room - it was quite good. However, the hot water pressure system is poor and very inconsistent meaning that it was very difficult to attain and maintain an even water temperature.

Room was quiet, bed was super comfortable. Bar was ok. Staff were great, but there’s just nothing in the surrounds to warrant staying here. Service station with a convenient store is about 10 min walk. 7 eleven on the other side of the main road about 15 minute wall. You have to get taxi every-time you want to go anywhere. And order delivered food if you want to eat. Might be ok if you want to access the airport or something. I was told there was a good shopping mall nearby but there’s just many shopping malls in Bangkok. Didn’t really tickle my interest to check it out.

Unable to adjust the air-condition temperature. Extremely cold, had to turn it off and back on again several times.

The staff is super helpful and so kind to clean up our room everytime and put it neatly back into place! Nothing everything is exceptional!

Check in staff and beautiful lobby was impressive. The shuttle to MEGA SHOPPING MALL & IKEA, a real plus! Slippery bathroom No premium coffee machine. Windows didn't open and air con was extreme. Lighting was harsh. Furniture was old and unattractive

The service and staff, cleanliness, good breakfast and value for money. Close to Bitec The shower is not senior friendly since you have to go inside the bath tub, no anti slip mat and hand held shower head.
