Good location to public transportation and china town You’re required to remove your shoes before going upstairs, but the stairs are in poor condition and very loud. There was also a severe shortage of toilet paper. Noise is a big issue. Neighbors can be heard clearly through the walls, and the constant stomping from above shakes the room. Facilities are very basic. The receptionist is friendly but rarely available and speaks limited English. There’s poor air circulation, and the only window near the bathroom was often closed by others. Towels are provided, but there’s no soap or other essentials.

The location was great, close to many things but still quiet, the bed was comfortable, there were always hot water and good stream in the shower and the place was clean There are lots of steep stairs so if that isn’t suitable for you take it into account, the host wasn’t very available and we rarely saw her around and there was no separation between the toilet and shower so the toilet was always wet

Great value for price. Cozy hostel right near Chinatown. Aircon worked great in room. Coat hangers, table, charger in room. Secure reception area and safe and quiet vibe. Washing machines available on site. The shared bathroom light kept breaking so you had to go in the dark. Toilet right next to shower so it always felt a bit unclean even if it was clean. No aircon in lobby or shared bathroom so you always felt hot and muggy. But can you really complain too much for the price?
