I'm not saying the hotel is far from city It is behind Khoisan near Sam's en I'm saying that from outside the building look modern But the shower female room DO NOT EXPECT PRIVACY THERE IS JUST A PLASTIC CURTAIN HIDING YOU AND TOILET ? ? ? IS OPPOSITE EACH SHOWER CUBE ...LET SAY ALL TOILETS BUSY YOUR SHOWERING IN FRONT OF PEOPLE POOING... IM.NOT GIVING 9/10 TO THIS HOSTEL CAUSE OF THAT.. NEAR THE FEMALE BATHROOM WINDOW THERE IS A SHOWER BUT THE CURTAIN IS FULL OF BLACK FUNGIES ..A SOWER CURTAIN COSTB12 EUROS THE 'RICH 8 HOSTEL' DOES NOT CARE..? IT LEAVES IT LIKE THAT.. ITS REPULSING IN THE ROOM THE FLOOR IS CLEAN BUT THE CARPET ON LOWER BERTH BIT DUSTY WITH GERMS OF COVID 19 KITCHEN TABLES ARE WOOD..BUT STICKY LIKE SUGAR COATED... THE LIFT THEY NOT THAT CLEAN KITCHEN TABLES ARE STICKY SHIWER FEMALES CURTAINS WEARS mushrooms BLACK FUNGIES..HOW CAN THE RICH IS NOT BOTHER TO REPLACE SHOWER CURTAINS THE CURTAINS OF FEMALE ROOM BEDS SOME BROKEN FALLING DOWN AH IT REALLY A RICH PLACE TRUST ME THE LIFT ? STOP BEFORE EACH FLOORS YOU STILL HAVE TO DO IT BY WALK ?‍♂ ?‍♀️ ?‍♀ THE breakfast IS OPEN THE FRIDGE AND THROW IT AT YOUR PLATE GENERALLY HOSTELS PUT BREAKFAST ON TABLES.. DISINFECTANT.. RICH 8/HOSTEL THE RATING OF THE HOSTEL IS NOT ACCURATE I DID NOT LIKE THE DIRTY SHOWER CURTAINS THE BED Curtains IN SATIN FALLING DOWN The lift telling you the rich hostel as a lift As an architect The man who build that building..? did not work it well..it does not male sense..you just have to do it by steps..there is entry card after reception and stairs lift is placed "ABOVE THE STAIRS AT RICH 8 HOSTEL" SO BEWARE OF THE "mouth of the half and hypocrisy if this hostel.." If you have lots of or heavy suitcase GOID ADVICD DONT GO THERE..GO TO ANOTHER SPACIOUS HOSTEL..THEUR KITCHEN IS SPACIOUS BUT NOT THE HOSTELS STAIRS NOT ALL THEUR ROOMS THE LIFT..A JOKE..THERE IS NO LIFT OR NO GLOORS YOU STILL.HAVE TO DO IT BY WALK THE LOCATION OF THE HOTEL.. AT 30C THANK YOU NOT BAD BUT A BIT AT THE END OF ROAD THE BREAKFAST HAS NOTHING SPECIAL ORANGE JUICE OK BUT SALAD DRESSING NO TASTE A CREAMY TASTE The femalr shower ? is awful You basically shower in front of ? ? So if toilets busy YOU HAVE NO PRIVACY

Great bed ! The a/c works great. You have free coffee and drinking water .

Such lovely and helpful staff, really nice, clean beds and bathrooms. Great location as short walk to Kao San and other nice areas along riverside. Highly recommended :) Unlike other hostels, there are no organised group tours/ trips which is a shame, but it also makes this hostel less of a party place and easier to relax within.

The location is perfect, everything is quite near, just 2 minutes away is a 7-eleven shop, there are many places to find good food in a street, about 10 minutes walk to main old city streets, where the main action begins in the evening. About 40 minutes walk to the main temples and palace. The room is nice, equipped with all needed amenities, ac was working well, and I used it all the time. Breakfast was basic, owners was very helpful and let me check-in earlier, when the room was ready. Several times I woke up to noises from the hall and neighbours rooms.

The staff was friendly, the coffee was delicious, the breakfast was delicious, and above all, the cleanliness was amazing! Everything was great! Nothing

The rooms are spacious and kept cool. The breakfast is nice and there is some choice. The staff at the reception was helpful. It is located far from the BST and Metro so there's just the bus. The bathrooms were not very clean. There was no toilet paper in the toilet stalls. The floating market tour offered is a tourist trap, not recommended. There is a charge to use the bathroom after check out.

Friendly staff, good aircon, in a quiet street away from the loud khaosan road if that what you're after - about 15 min walk to Khaosan Rd. Breakfast was okay.

It is very clean and comfortable It's more of a hotel to hostel style. Has small touches like tooth brush kit and shower cap and slippers Breakfast is a good start to the day and it has a nice variety, eggs, sussage, ham, cornflakes butter jam coffee tea fruits and veggies Staffs are friendly and helpful. The only problem for us was wifi that fluctuates a lot. And we couldn't rely on it for working

A very good hostel for the money that you pay. Common spaces are excellent. The vibe is good and so is the location. For someone ready to explore the local street food, and want a nice and cozy space far from the crowd, but close enough to access from party centres, Rich8 is crazy good.

I had bad service at reception The place is very clean, the coffee is good.
