The hotel was built in the early 20th century and the architecture shows it. The rooms are large and the furtniture reminds of old times, but it was great. We loved the hotel

I liked the architecture of this older once grand hotel. Everything was on a grand scale, but now under utilised. The old furniture in the room. There funny little steps that were unexpected. Under the door to the room, and under the bathroom door. The tiles on the edge of the small step under the bathroom door were broken with jagged edges.

It’s like faulty towers. The staff look at you like you’re ruining their day asking about anything. I had a seizure the day of the earthquake I managed to make it down to reception before collapsing and calling for an ambulance. The staff just stared at me no one came over to me. Lucky it went away and I managed to get back to my room on my own. Needless to say I checked out the following day. It really was the worse staff I’ve ever encountered in a hotel anywhere in the world. Plenty of other hotels in the area similar prices and way better with normal staff. Stay here at your peril

Despite the kettle in the room, no tea or coffee was provided. Breakfast service was not available either even though a large dining room was present in the hotel. Seemed understaffed.

clean Old and lack of maintenance. Very quiet and feels like haunted. I had nightmare staying in this hotel.

Location, friendly staff, clean and good size room. Bathroom was a bit outdated.

Sadly I tried sorting something out on the phone and had the phone put down on me. I called about five times. Refused

Comfortable bed and spacious room. Suitable for an overnight stay. Booked for one night believing the tariff was 900 baht only to be told on arrival it was 1 000 baht since no discount allowed for a short stay. Thus the advertised rate appears to be misleading.
