Clean and new. Free water, there is microwave, fridge and l guess you can use the washing machine, too. In my dorm the bathroom was en suite. -There is no host and l have no idea who runs the hostel. You receive an email with door codes which are also not very clear so the guests show it to newcomers. It is a bit fun actually. In 2 days l saw only a sweet lady cleaning the hostel. - I have never complained about stairs in any place. I was on the third floor and the stairs are really steep and a lot. - Mattress is so hard like stone.

Clean and quiet hostel. As nice as it looks in the photos. Great area, nice food hawker stalls nearby. Quite a small hostel/cozy. Excellent beds. Everything very new and clean. Had a great stay.
