This is my 4th time staying at this hotel. Love the accessibility to local market, great food and massage just round the corner. Subway is nearby. There is a free buggy shuttle to ferry you from hotel to subway or 7-11. However if you choose to walk , it will take less than 10 mins. Staff speaks basic english but sufficient to get message across. Wifi speed is fast. No issue if you are here on a work trip and need to be connected 24/7 Awesome cafe with good barista coffee nearby. It was an hour ride from Suvarnabhumi airport to hotel during peak hour and 40 mins during non peak hours. Grab (ride hailing app) readily available. Rides and food just an app away. The facilities are basic. So please don't expect a 5 star hotel amenities. Honestly I have decided to stay in this hotel again for the restaurant situated at the lobby. However it was closed for good. I wish the restaurant will open back again. I stayed a total of 10 nights. and I stayed in room 501. Sad to say, the room is badly infested with ants. As i stayed in for majority of the days, the room was cooled by the air condition. The ants dont venture much, and being in a south east asia country, ants are everywhere. so i wasnt bothered too much, 1 or 2 is fine. However, the ants was more apparent when the power outage happened on the 29th March. The heat was unbearable even for the colony of ants. The 2 nest of ants at each corner of the room have them marching across the room. It was a horror scene when i return back to my room in the evening. The headboard also seems to be infested with a tiny black bug. because every other night i will see 1 or 2 jumping on the bed. Though the room looks exactly like the images provided by the hotel, however they do need some regular maintenance. And PEST CONTROL. The overnight staff at the counter is not exactly friendly. I guess she is way too tired having to stay awake the whole day. so if you are checking in in the wee hours. please be prepared. As i checked out in the early morning of the 30th March, I tried to convey to her the ants issue in the room, but she wasnt bothered about it or maybe she dont understand what i was trying to convey. I really do hope the management is reading this review and acting on it.
