Diff Hostel

I was harassed by a staff member there the entire time she was very hostile for no reason and she continued to follow me around the building I don't know why! I'm not sure why but it was very inappropriate and she's very much just Disturbed my spirit the entire time there. Also there was something stolen off of my suitcase, my luggage tag it was a Green luggage tag it was very nice but someone stole it there. The staff members were very inappropriate rolling their eyes at me and acting as if they didn't want me in the environment , they didn't have a good attitude they were very inappropriate with their behavior and their actions, also there was an old man near this hostel like right across the way who would sit outside with his shirt off it was really inappropriate and I don't suggest any solo women to stay here ! The breakfast was not what they advertised I thought you would get more food but it was a small bowl of cereal and two small sausages that would not fill up in adult, so I feel like that was false advertisement to get people to pay to stay there. The staff did very frustrating things anytime I went to the comment area they start being very inappropriate slamming things doing chaotic things and causing chaos for the environment to be unpeaceful for me to leave the environment but I paid to stay there so I just refuse to leave! Bedding area not clean, room was always hot the air conditioner was not powerful enough for the room ! The air conditioner was only allowed through certain times of the room stay hot the rest of the day pretty crazy! Nosey Ppl near! Not environment for solo women travelers! Stay away! Becarful in these tourist places the whole area is unsafe including the 711 across the street

P’Nai the reception lady is the best! My favourite person in this hostel!! Superb service and the cleaner-cook was so nice to pack me a sandwich breakfast with fruit and a soda when I had to leave early for my flight back to Singapore

This property has a high rating on Chinese booking apps. I met many Chinese tourists happy to share travel stories. 4-5 blocks from sky train

Very nice property in a convenient location, with easy train access from Bangkok Airport and close proximity to the BTS, making it simple to reach any part of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hostel was always clean, quiet, and well-maintained. After a long flight, I had a very good night’s sleep. The only improvement I would suggest is adding lockers for guests. It is not very convenient to carry all valuable belongings around, and many travelers may not feel comfortable leaving expensive items in a shared public area. No lockers

Very close to the shopping malls area (around 15-20 minutes walking). Very close to Rachathewi BTS train station (less then 5 minutes walking). Very close to Payuthai BTS and ARL station (Airport Rail Link). less then 7 minutes walking. No daily water. No safe box. Toilet is very small.

I am a repeat customer because I had a good experience with Diff Hostel in the past. As usual, the hotel met my expectations because of its cleanliness, safety, location, and price. It's a no fuss but cozy place to stay in the heart of bustling Bangkok! ---- Diff Hostel also has a second building just across its main building (also operated by the main building), and I loved the room given to me over there!! It can be difficult for people with mobility issues since guests need to go up and down the stairs. However, for their main location, there is a baggage life which makes things so much easier! (They don't have this in the second building though.)

Very ideal and prime location - close to 2 stations and airport line, and if you are willing to walk, can reach main shopping belt too! Convenience stores close by, massage places are reasonably priced. 2nd time staying here, so can hit the ground running ;) breakfast is basic and filling. overall a great stay for budget and solo travellers with small to mid sized luggage. Bellboy for luggage transport so no worries on carrying it up stairs! XD Altho bathroom was cleaned well, spotted a small roach my first time stepping in D: managed to wash it down but was still a shock. Blanket was musty/smelt like it didn't dry properly, towels as well, but then again it had been raining the last few days and there is no way to open the windows in this room.. Minor gripe but have to climb stairs XD

Great location, near Ratchithewi Metro station. Easy walk to: Pratunam market, Shopping malls (Platinum, Central, Siam). Short subway ride to Chatuchak Market. Down quiet alley. Little outdoor terrace. Communal fridge/ coffee area nice. Plus: a lift to put heavy suitcases upstairs! Reception staff not very friendly nor helpful. No smiles & no idea what nights the main Night Markets were on (the dates change, etc). Every morning they yell ‘scuse me! shoving plates at breakfast (poach egg & sausage). Private room is tiny, mattress takes up entire space (mattress is on the floor and you cannot walk around it), you’ve space to open 1 suitcase.

The staff were super lovely and helpful, great breakfast, comfy and large bed with storage space. Great location and good washroom facilities.

The private room was very clean comfy spacious, came with toiletteries, location and room/building felt safe. Fruits and breakfast each morning, different eggs, toast, coffee etc Very easy access from/to airport (using grab or train) and bts transport and reasonably walkable to chinatown or lumpini park. a fridge and microwave are available as well as hot water and assortments of tea coffee. Noise from adjacent rooms I could hear talking, snoring, stomping quite vividly and even a random girl singing (probably had her earbuds on).

The hotel is all you need, the location is perfect, the place is clean, I really enjoyed meeting the other guests and the staff there. My wallet was stolen and everyone help me, take care of me and make me feel very welcome, safe and loved

Great location, close to BTS station (sky train). The room is small but clean. The mattress and pillows are comfortable. There are coin-operated washer and dryer. The breakfast is good for small hostel. Staffs are nice and helpful. Some loud noise in the morning.

Stayed here over 20 times since the hostel was brand new to the scene in 2017 right from the start a few days after they opened. The private room is fantastic. Comfortable and the AC is cold enough for me to sleep and relax. WiFi is strong and the table was adequate for working online and I had no issues with connectivity and having enough space to write with an a4 sheet of paper. Lobby is nice and there is a free breakfast which is basic but delicious. The kitchen staff cook it for you when you come downstairs. Laundry is charged at 40 baht for washing and 50 baht for drying. Reception are very friendly and helpful and they speak fluent english. Not the hostel’s fault but some guests were incredibly rude. 1 in particular had zero manners and scowled at me when I helped them open the door when they could not find their key card and muttering that I was so slow as a guest while seated and chatting to another guest. Absolutely inconsiderate. Other guests simply left their dishes on the table after breakfast without bringing it back to the counter. Otherwise, no issues overall.

It is really close to BTS and it was very quiet at night time. It was weird to not wear any shoes and the door was a bit heavy for girls. I’m also very sensitive with pillows and that pillow was way too high for me.But beside that everything was great.

They gave us family room for 3 with private bathroom on first floor so easier with our luggages. Breakfast was ok, service ok. Easy to found halal food around and convenoent store also near 2 BTS station Phaya ttai and Ratchatewi.
