The staff and location at the hotel were excellent. It is a few minute walk to Nana Plaza and the night life scene. The pool is easy to access but a bit cool for the time of year and weather. The front desk takes 1000TB from you in cash as a deposit. They return it when you leave but if you are leaving the country you wont get much of an opportunity to spend it.

Great location just a few minutes walks to bts. Very spacious and clean rooms. Nice pool and gym. The staff are awesome. Everyone is very nice!

I have stayed at this hotel for the past 20 years. The location is great and very central to Sukhumvit area. The staff are always helpful. The refurbishment of the hotel over the past years has made a huge difference to the rooms and to the inside of the hotel. Unfortunately the bath towels have not been upgraded as the hotel has been refurbished. The only real issue I have with the hotel now is that the towels are small and thin. They have a great bathroom, great shower, but not great towels. I hope management will look at this issue. This makes a big difference in any hotel.

I’ve been staying at the DG now for over 15 years but this was the first time after a 5 year absence. Nothing had changed other than the restaurant had disappeared. Not a problem though as food is abundant within spitting distance. The hotel is a very unassuming property. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles you find in 5 star properties but for what it is, it would be pretty hard to do better. Location is excellent and the rooms are spacious. The pool is a great size. At the risk of being picky the replacement with LEDs has made the rooms a bit too bright and you can’t dim them.

This hotel is very well located near to Soi 4 and the Nana BTS station, as well as some good restaurants . The rooms are modern, large and clean; the bathroom is well arranged with shower and bath and larger than most hotels'. The best things are (a) the quiet and (b) the extra large pool, ideal for laps and never crowded. It is excellent value for money and `I would stay here on future trips. The only negative might be the absence of an on site restaurants, but there are plenty of good places within a five-minute walk.

It was just the right price point and location for the trip I made to Bangkok. A nice, clean, comfortable hotel! Walk one direction to get to Soi Nana or go the other direction for a shortcut to Sukhumvit Soi 12 Price point, location, cleanliness

The location ist great, you'll find almost everything in walking distance. Bars, Restaurants, Shopping, Train Station and Nightlife. The hotel is very dated. It looked much better and more modern in the pictures. Considering what hotels you could get in Bangkok for maybe just a little more, this place does not offer a good price-performance ration. There are many better options. I wanted a room with a balcony, which I got. But they located me in a smoker room (probably a misunderstanding because I asked for a balcony to have a smoke on). It smelled very bad in the room form years of heavy inside smoking.
