Our friend had a brief two night stay at this family run hotel. He really liked the breakfast and the rooftop view. The central location makes it really easy to get around - a three minute walk to the metro, a 8 minute walk to Chinatown or to a street with many Thai options. The best part of the hotel is the staff, who are so kind and helpful. Also a great breakfast. Everything was great.

I have stayed at several high end AirBnBs with pools in Bangkok, but I very much prefer this hotel. The staff are very welcoming and were so sweet with our 1 year old child. They had great advice on where to go. Unlike the AirBnBs, the hotel is a short walk to the metro, to fantastic street food in Chinatown, and to BanTadThong Road which also has great Thai options. The beds were great and as you can see, everyone likes the breakfast. We also loved with rooftop terrace which has a great view of Bangkok at night and the coin laundry and dryer which is only 50 Bhatt. It was also nice to support a local hotel that has been family run for 50 years rather than a big chain. We loved staying here. After several trips to Bangkok, this is our new go to hotel. Everything was great. I wish we could have stayed longer.

When I complained they removed it but didn't change my room. I felt this was very basic from the hotel. First impression is the best impression. So I was really disappointed and frustrated. We had booked 3 rooms in the same floor. Though the rooms were clean, it's old and basic. Wouldn't choose again for my next stay We were given a room next to house keeping. Pile of dirty laundry was put in front of our room. I felt very disgusted when I checked in. I had already paid the entire amount so I had no choice. When I complained they removed it but didn't change my room. I felt this was very basic from the hotel. First impression is the best impression. So I was really disappointed and frustrated. we had included breakfast. The food was great. we ate at the attached cafe several times and it was always delicious. location is right next to the metro blue line stop 28, canal taxis, and the old railroad center, making it easy to get around Bangkok. The staff was always helpful and the hotel was clean. the hotel shows the wear and tear of its 50 years in business, the mattress was too firm for my taste.

I was on the side facing the railway station where several major roads meet so it was very noisy from the traffic noise. There should be the option not to have the included breakfast buffet when booking with Booking.com. I paid for it but never had it.

Breakfast was great. Friendly staff and great location near Chinatown. The common area was under construction during our stay, so the floor felt a little uncomplete. However, it was still great value for money.

The hotel’s location is excellent, conveniently close to the train station and MRT. The staff are attentive, kind, and welcoming. I also loved the free breakfast—the food was delicious. The room is old and requires renovation. Its location next to the train station makes it noisy due to passing vehicles.

Location. If you are traveling by rail from Hua Lamphong this is ideal, a 2 minute walk! Also close to Chinatown. Housekeeping was basically non-existent. We left a full trash can and the coffee service/water tray outside our door with the Do Not Disturb sign on. We expected to return to find an empty trash can, as well as a refreshed coffee service and water. Instead, nothing. Breakfast was pretty basic.

Excellent location with easy access to local attractions. Main transport with in minutes of walking distance. Some rooms facing the road could have the distraction of traffic noise.

The staff were awesome. The price was terrific. It was a little colder than I realized, but it was still very clean.
