Several issues. First, the door required application of force to open, I needed to use my shoulder. Secondly, the air conditioning/heating unit was so loud that we had to turn it off to watch television and to sleep. Even with it turned off, road sounds came into the room through the unit - it was like have a window open and the noise coming through. The room was comfortable, and we appreciated having two chairs for watching television and reading. The shower was nice, but the fan was quite loud.

We had a problem with the air conditioning not working. It was 80 in the room. We let maintenance know and he thought we needed a new air conditioner. He needed to remove ours and replace air conditioners in other rooms and ran out but that didn’t stop him. He put an oscillating fan in our room and let us know if that didn’t work we could be moved to another room. We asked to be moved and he personally brought the luggage carrier up to our room. We saw him the next morning and he smiled and let us know that our old room was now very cool AND thinking ahead he said I need to get other air conditioners just in case. Also, we were upgraded to a huge 3 bedroom room that was gorgeous! Not the usual person working in the breakfast area that day. He kept the food filled and there were alot of guests, but every table was dirty and he didn’t come out to clean one while we ate.

My favorite thing about this place was the dog path thru the wildflower field. What a great place to watch the sunset while walking the pup. The staff was nice and helpful. Even though I did not require my room to be cleaned while I was there, the cleaning staff was exceptionally kind and attentive, always saying hi if they saw me in the hall and checking to see if I had everything I needed. The breafast was decent every morning. They always have a wide selection of items including my favorite tea. The pillows and blankets are very cozy and the room was nice and spacious. The pool and hot tub were good to have after long days of hiking. I saw some complain about the loud AC units, but those things kick serious but and the hum is steady that it creates the perfect white noise for sleeping. Shower had great water pressure and temperature - very important. The matresses need to be replaced. They were hard with spings that popped a little. I was solo in a 2 bed room and both beds were the same. Thankfully I used all of the pillows from both beds to create my own pillow top. The pool is refreshing but theres so much noise from the highway and truck stop for it to be relaxing. Also, the metal loungers at the pool dont have any cushions and the entrance to the pool needs to be updated to the room key access as the current system is difficult especially if entering alone. The colored spotlights outside make the building look nice but also really light up the room at night, even with the blackout curtains.

Clean, comfortable, and staff was wonderful didn't eat breakfast but the menu looked great lots of options...smelled good...id definitely stay here again! Price was a little steep ,and had to wait for room to b completed cleaning, I did request an early check in..(2-3pm) regular check in is 3pm...waited until 3:15 in the hallway..but that really wasn't a big deal!
