The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, and the interiors were charming and full of character. They also left a small box of chocolates as a welcome gift, which was a very considerate and lovely touch. I honestly don’t understand why the hotel has only two stars, as the overall experience felt much better than that. The breakfast was rather mediocre. The room did not have a minibar, and the location was a little far from the city center.

large bed and overall pleasant hotel with a nice lobby and staff. the location is a bit far from the main attractions (30-50 mins), but accessible by subway. The AC was not adjustable and was relatively weak during our August stay. Also the room could have been a bit cleaner.

It was a charming hotel, great value for money. The staff were very helpful. Breakfast was great and the room service was also good and with a reasonable price. It was a bit far from city center (Plaça de Catalunya) to go on foot (30-35 minutes), but there was a metro station nearby.

It was well located. When we arrived in our room, it smelled like cigarette. When we told the receptionist, they said that they could clean the air of the room with a machine as there were no other rooms available. We accepted although they asked us to leave for 30min to one hour. When we came back after more than one hour the room wasn’t yet ready. When we finally got to our room, it didn’t smell smoke anymore, but their machine left such a strong cleaning product smell that we had to leave the window open ( during a heatwave). Then, we noticed that the ceiling in the bathroom was leaking. We told them that we wanted a refund. They said they would for the two following nights but not the current one. We left for dinner and when we came back, my partner went to shower and the water wasn’t evacuating so the bathroom was literally flooded ! It was 10:30 pm when I went back to the front office to ask for a full refund as we couldn’t stay in that room - water was running out through the room, to the hallway! Miraculously, they had a suite available then and could move us, but they had already cancelled our two other nights and didn’t us to stay unless we paid the suite price… we left the next morning. They did not refund the fees and taxes - 50 canadian dollars and didn’t compensate us in ANY way for the issues - not even a drink , coffee , discount - nothing ! The ceiling was also leaking in the suite. I would say, if you can afford a better hotel, avoid this one!

The location was perfect. Extremely close to the subway and on a subway line that had us easily able to get where we wanted to quickly. The bed was bigger than expected and VERY comfortable. The air conditioning was a nice reprieve after hot days in August. And the hotel supplied beach towels to use for free! Nothing.

It was a wonderful hotel. The room was clean, well laid out, and had lots of amenities. The location was good with a nearby subway station allowing access to most of the city. The staff were happy to help and the breakfast is highly recommended. I had seen bad reviews of this place from past years, but I am so glad that I did not listen to them. It was the most enjoyable stay of our three week trip.

The interior is very modern. Accessible to every tourists spots. The Staffs are very friendly, accommodating and welcoming. Thank you also for the welcome Drinks made by Luis. It was tasty. Definitely recommended.

The staff was super friendly and went above & beyond to make my stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. The beds were comfy too. The room overall could have been cleaner. Some of the furniture was dated and dingy. The outside 'lounge' area was next to a parking lot & construction. As well, the room next door to me was under construction & noisy drill machines during the day. Based on online photos, I was expecting a higher standard. I would not have paid the amount I was charged for that room.
