Location was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Rachel who helped us on arrival after being told we had been booked into the hotel when in fact we weren’t! We did return there after our tour had finished because of this. Would be good to have a jug in your room and to have a cook available at breakfast. Always great if you can get an omelette or similar cooked.

I really liked the location of the hotel. Close to metro station-within 10 min walking distance. But also walking distance to some great landmarks (c. 30 min to Sagrada Familia, Casa Batlló or Fuentes Mágicas). The staff was really nice and the breakfast was superb. There was also mini fridge and electric kettle in our room. I booked triple room with 3 single beds, yet we got a room with a double bed and one extra bed (přistýlka). I specifically chose three single bed room and was disappointed in this. I am also not sure about the quality of the cleanliness of the hotel, when we arrived the towels looked dirty. They changed them daily, even though we did not ask for that and hang the towels to make it clear they dont need to be changed. On the second day, we found someone else’s socks in the room- the cleaning staff had probably dug them out from under the large heavy curtains left by the previous guests. However, what I really did not like- when we were checking in, the receptionist said our room number really outloud so that other guest could have heard that. It is a huge safety concern for me, maybe it comes from my solo-female travelling time, but I did not expect this to happen at a 4* hotel.
