Location was fabulous and hotel was amazing Our air conditioner kept warming up, was not nice. We knew the room was going to be small but it was too small, out suite cases could not fit away where

Staff was accommodating. Not that clean. Room was very humid. Really small pool. No towels and little places to sit or tan.

Property is very clean, well positioned, staff is very nice and helpful. There is not match verity of options for the breakfast. The room is not so big, but are very clean instead (daily cleaning done). The terrace on the top floor can be better designed.

Great location , very responsive staff , room size and access . The roof top tapas bar was a bonus . AC wasn’t cool enough for us - had to keep curtains closed as another room directly opposite

This hotel is "cool" --very art deco. The room is very well appointed and quite large with a separate sitting area between the bed and the bathroom. It had plenty of amenities (coffee machine, electric teapot, fully stocked fridge, etc.). It's in a very good location and less than a block away from Casa Batlo and Passeig de Gracia with lots of shops and places to eat within walking distance. The mattress was ok but not super comfortable. Because of its location there was some noise from the street traffic and a lot of rumbling from the Metro which was more noticeable later in the evening. You need your room key to open the front doors to the hotel which was kind of a hassle. Overall, I felt the hotel emphasizes style and aesthetics over comfort. It was totally fine for a one night stay but I wouldn't have enjoyed a longer stay here.

Great staff and location. The rooms are very quiet and the blackout curtains work well. Not a very spacious lobby and only scrambled eggs available at the breakfast. Made to order eggs would be nice

Excellent location near metro and train station. Good breakfast with lots of different options, delicious pastries, cheeses and charcuterie. Very friendly staff. Plus for the terrace bar, with good food and drinks and very helpful staff. Room was tastefully decorated and it was appreciated that the toilet was in a separate cubicle, as it allowed one of us to shower or use the sink while the other was using the "facilities". Our room faced the courtyard so it was very quiet. Very comfortable bed and good sized shower cubicle. All small issues that didn't affect us negatively: Difficult to regulate AC in the room, and the way it was positioned meant it was constantly blowing on my side of the bed, but not a huge issue. Warm food in breakfast was not great. The terrace pool is a nice idea but it was a little soupy in both appearance and temperature, so it wasn't exactly refreshing after walking around on a warm summer day. Spotty service in cleaning, two days we didn't have any room cleaning (not a huge issue as we've been in hotels where this is policy but I don't think it was meant to be so here) and one day they forgot to put in new large towels after removing the old ones (but this was solved in 5 min). Room was on the small side, it will be complicated to bring large suitcases.

Fantastic location in the L'Eixample district. Steps from restaurants, shopping, and the Metro Station. There is a Starbucks on the ground floor, which was very nice to have. Convenience store across the street which made those late night snack runs easy. Local attractions were very close- Antoni Gaudi's Casa Batloo across the street from the hotel. Hallways into the hotel room were not adequately ventilated. Because of the heat and humidity outside, the hallways were hot and humid as well. But I am glad the hotel rooms had great air conditioning.

Excellent location, great service and super nice staff, the room was always cleaned fast and with high standards. I read reviews about subway noise issues when staying on 1st floor and also club noise issues when staying on last floor - but we booked the Junior Suite on the 5th floor - and it was perfect without any noise issues. The room was big and spacious, exquisite decoration, with nice little balcony.

Great breakfast. Room was clean and comfy. Awesome location.
