Great location in old town Bari! There was a religious festival going on, with music and lights.

The location of B&B Vin e Va is perfect for an old town stay. It is super central to Piazza Mercantile, which comes to life each evening and all the other attractions the old town offers. Vincenzo, the host is very informative and provided us with lots of helpful information for our stay. The shower is a little cramped and the spiral staircase can be challenging with luggage. However, the location outweighs these small issues.

Best croissants of our two weeks! Staff arrived to set up breakfast promptly as indicated. We were only their for our last night to catch an early Bari flight. The location is convenient to access restaurants in and around the piazza as well as for drop off and pick up by transportation company or taxis only a short walk. The street off the square did make it a rather noisy gathering spot for young, loud locals late that night. It may have been a one time occurrence. Just unfortunate if you have a very early flight but want the Old Town experience. Also, the stairs to the upper rooms would be next to impossible for some!

We didn't like that there was no shower gel outside of a packet one for one person and the bathrooms were tiny....we had eight people so it was great to have the whole place to our group but I couldn't imagine sharing with other families.

Location Had to walk up a tiny stairway to reach the room with bags over 20 KG. Booking should have informed us, we are more than 70 years old. Airport taxi could not bring us to the door because it is in the historic center. We had to walk more than 1km to reach the property. Booking should have told us. Owner should take some PR lessons. Breakfast very limited

Location right in the middle of everything 1) breakfast begins at 9. Essentially, not sure intentionally, good for nothing as most tourists would not wait 2) although quick to respond to questions but not responding to maintenance issues

Location to the plaza. Located opposite a 24 hour vending machine center. In the evening and very late evening locals would hangout and shout at each other.

Great location right at Little Venice! Hot water was not working in the morning when we were there so really cold during winter

It was very noisy because the room faced the main street. People were making noise under our windows throughout the night.

Fantastic location in the old town, but close to the new town for easy access to the station and buses. Despite its closeness to bars and restaurants in the nearby Piazza we found it nice and quiet. Good communication with Vincenzo before our arrival with access and WiFi information. The room was clean and towels were changed after a few nights. WiFi in our room on the ground floor was excellent. It’s small for a triple room but this didn’t bother us at all as we were out most of the time, and found it to be a great base. We only had 4 hangers and there were no drawers, so clothes storage was an issue. The website references toiletries but the only ones provided were shower gel sachets. There’s no safe in the room, and no kettle in the kitchen that we could see. The beds have plastic sheets which are loud when you turn over, and make the bed uncomfortable. And the room is quite bright at night because the blind doesn’t quite cover the window, so it isn’t great for sleeping.

Very central location and easy self check in. The room was clean. We didn’t realise that to get to the room we were staying in required you to walk up extremely steep stairs without a bannister, a scary prospect with a four month old. The bed in the room was uncomfortable and the sheets on it didn’t fit so they kept coming off in the night, making it not enjoyable to sleep in. Room was only cleaned/towels changed after four days when we requested it. Breakfast consisted of basic coffee and microwaved croissants so we tended to forgo it.
