First of all the host, Giovanni, was extremely kind and hospitable. The location is excellent, albeit pedestrian only access. There is free parking about 400m away. The cozy terrazza on the second floor is great! Excellent view. Great atmosphere all around. It is a lively old city. The apartment has very good sound insulation, so the party noise from nearby cannot be heard or bother - we didn't mind it at all. And there is partying every night. Big thank you to Giovanni! What is there not to like in Barletta?

The best thing about this place was the location -- right next to the belltower (as the name implies) and with a view of the castle outside the tiny window. The host carried my suitcase up and down the stairs. The host was not present at the agreed upon check in time. I waited a bit, then had to call and wait a bit longer. There were no towels provided. One of the bedside lamps wasn't working -- maybe just a burnt out bulb -- but still not up to expectations. A ticket for breakfast was provided but the breakfast place never opened. The host did rectify this by taking me to a different place for breakfast upon his arrival for check out. The host kept my ID document until check out. Other places have taken pictures but never have I had anyone keep it.

Everything about this accommodation exceeded our expectations. From the amazing Giovanni and his gorgeous helper (sorry, I can't remember your name) to the incredible view from our room. Seriously, ten out of ten in every way.

The room is spacious and we also had a balcony overlooking the castle. The view was absolutely stunning as the location is just perfect, between the castle and the city centre.

Very central location, great bars and restaurants close by and lots of parking spots - Giovanni is fantastic! It can get a bit noisy at night, but the double glazing really helps isolate from the noise.

The host was friendly and helpful. He gave us a welcome bottle of prosecco and access to his rooftop terrace. The location is awesome right near the castle. We didn't use it but a/c was extra

The property is attached to one of the main tourist attractions, Duomo Santa Maria Majorie. ,and only metres from Castle Stevie. The walls are half a metre thick with windows at either end of the room with shutters on the outside to block the light and double glazed windows on the inside to block out the noise at night. You are in the centre of the action at night. Your host Giovanni, is keen to make your stay memorable. A charming genuine Italian. Gratzie, Giovanni.
