The hotel manager is very kind and welcoming. There is a cute cat who welcomed us too. The beds are very comfortable. We were initially given a room with a broken toilet seat—both lids completely separated from the bowl. Clearly, the hotel needs repair and better maintenance. On a separate note, we were most disappointed with the restaurant on the ground floor: in our opinion, it is overpriced for average food—indeed our pizzas were greasy and the salads contained rotten lettuce. Furthermore, in our humble opinion, the restaurant manager appears to be more interested in making a showy impression on customers/acquaintances from the local area rather than demonstrating professionalism and good service towards outsiders and visitors staying at the hotel. However, the head waitress is very kind and professional.

I liked the staff - very friendly and helpful. I did not like the room - it was not perfectly clean, there were spiders in the ceiling, the balcony was difficult to close. Breakfast was ok, could be better though.

It was clean and comfortable it needs some care and updating - my shower door was hanging off. The breakfast was somewhat lacking - a small amount of bread, a little ham and cheese (but not every day), hard fruit which didn’t ripen and pastries.
