Red Roof Inn Baton Rouge

Not sure if it's Red Roof overall or just this location. First night the power was out on the stovetop, microwave, and fridge. Informed the front desk and they moved us with no problems (was grateful for that. It only took a minute). But even in the first room the drawer was broken and the bottom fell out, the fridge is angled so you're awkwardly pressing against the wall. The water pressure in the shower is REALLY low.its a first world problem but I'm used to hotels blasting my skin off with the pressure. The room had some bugs (it's the south and summer so not a big surprise) but it just felt ..off. The staff was always polite and helpful if anything was needed and the first night people especially so (and the two cleaners). I'd reserve at a different location but I would be cautious.

The front entrance was nice. The staff was nice. The room smelled stale. The cover and sheets had a stains, the pillow cases were dingy, no remote. I didn't even stay in checked in but I left .Couldn't stay.

The location It wasn’t clean

It was fine for what we needed. I didn't like that we had to pay a security deposit $100.00 while checking in but I understand why they do it. I have not been reimbursed yet so im waiting. Not liking that!!!!!!

Great intentions ND keeping up with the property

I liked the quietness about it and the availability. And the price for one of the rooms That I could not get a refund on the second room that nobody stayed in.

Room had full size fridge/freezer and 2 burner stove top. Kitchen sink was clogged when I checked but that was lone issue. Would repeat for sure

Lots of people were loitering in parking lot at 1am. I left as I did not feel safe to park there. My car had stuff in it as I was in process of moving. Did not want to risk dealing with broken window in the morning.

“Upon checking into my room, I had to request a room change because the original room had maintenance and cleanliness issues. The light above the bathroom mirror was not working, and there was a leftover coffee from a previous guest still inside the refrigerator. Overall, the quality, cleanliness, and upkeep of the property were extremely disappointing and did not meet basic hospitality standards.”

Staff line I checked out early on one room for refund me $400 but that didn’t happen only refund me $74 so someone else rented the other room that night but I paid for it too cause they double got paid for it and he lied to me people smoke weed drinking bunch of foolishness in there all night long and even on the outside very nasty
