friendly staff. good breakfast options. pleasant dining area. amazing views. lack of response to food complaint. rooms not freshened up after first day - cups and glasses had to be rinsed out in bathroom. dyson fan was ineffective ( stayed the hottest days of the year!)

Friendly staff, spacious clean room, comfortable beds, easy parking, lovely breakfast. Access was fine for us but may not be for all- the room was accessed up steps from car park - anti slip tread and automatic lighting.

Charming quintessential English country inn with fabulous views of Dorset Clean quiet comfortable Pleasant staff/owner Great meals Large room & bath w/all mod cons No dinner served Sunday night, and only restaurant open within 15 miles was a Bangladesh curry house in Beaminster (which proved excellent) Breakfast not included

Location was superb. Food amazing. Room lovely and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Already booked our return visit Studio room lovely, but let down by the bathroom, needs some TLC. Grouting dirty on floor and wall tiles. Bath panel broken in 2 places and screw cover missing from towel rail.

great room comfort with modern decoration, great food at dinner and breakfast ( just a bit expensive but a bit) , perfect for aperitivo with a great sunset scene in front... was very relaxing after a hard day work price for room and food was a bit expensive, can be a bit more affordable but quality was always above normal

We have stayed at this hotel before and the longer you spend here, the more you appreciate all it offers. We booked the studio and it was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable and well equipped. There was a range of teabags and the kitchenette had everything you needed. I have to say the breakfast was the best we have ever had and the evening meal was also excellent. We had a warm welcome on arrival and all the staff were exceptional. I really can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

Breakfast was delicious, but expensive, you have to pay for coffee/tea on top of your breakfast choice. You could pay as much as £18-20 each on top of your room price. However it was a good breakfast. I think the hot drinks should be in with the breakfast charge, with juices as well

Beautiful decor in room with an amazing huge bed. Lovely linen & soft towels. - very well equipped with radio, luggage rack, & coffee machine. Meal in restaurant was fantastic. There was some confusion on this site as it didn't give an option for breakfast. Think for the price breakfast should be included. Great deep bath but could do with a horizontal grab bar for bath and a vertical one for the shower.
