Holiday Inn Express Beijing Temple of Heaven by IHG

The metro wasn't within a very short walking distance, but it was still easy enough to get around. I arrived in Beijing at one airport and had an early morning flight from another, so I chose this hotel simply as a convenient place to stay overnight between flights. It was also close enough to the city center to grab a meal and pick up a few things for my trip. The room was very spacious, and the bed was comfortable. I also liked the bathroom design—the glass-block wall gave it a unique and interesting look. I didn't have any complaints at all. I only stayed for one night, so I can't comment on the hotel in more detail, but for an overnight stay between flights, it was an excellent choice.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious. The hotel position is great, near the city center as well as the Temple of Heaven. The breakfast is great and has a big variety of food from Chinese to western dishes.

Location and breakfast For people who need a small refrigerator for medicine it could be annoying to be depending on front desk station at the hotel. They should’ve had a plan for that kind of situation

The front desk staff are very friendly and cooperative. They assist customers using a translation device despite language barriers. Their cooperation and support are excellent.

Breakfast was very good. Good food and good selection. The carpet in the room was badly stained. There was a foul odor in the hallway of the 7th floor and in may room that lasted for two days. It eventually was eliminated, probably with some effort from the hotel. I kept my window open at all times for the first several days.

Every staff there is warm, informative and helpful. Facilities are exceptionally good. Very clean. Felt safe staying there. Location was near to temple of heavens just walking distance and also close by to halal restaurant.

This time nothing None customer service. Bad taxi coordination. Unclean rooms. Poor breakfast. The girl in front desk told me, if you want take the carrier for your luggage, what I did. No willingness to help the customer. Ten years ago was excellent.

Very good breakfast. Good location. No staff talks in English. Very old hoyel, with old furniture and very old renovation.

The room was neat and clean. We came earlier than the check in time, we had to wait for around 2 hours to get the room. Elevator was fast and works very well. The buffet breakfast has lots of variety. DiDi is available right at the door. They have option for free luggage storage if your need to check out late. The nearest metro station was quite far. There are many hotels with similar name which made us little confused. It was around 1 hour journey from the airport. The hotel staffs could have more speaking and understanding capability on English.

While located in a decent area, I score this low as there was no cell/internet service with my Airalo esim card due to the location.

The location is excellent, being within a 10-minute walking distance of the Temple of Heaven. In the surroundings, there are many restaurants at very good prices. The rooms are large enough and clean. The staff is very supportive and helpful. The internet was a disaster. The breakfast was good, but it was a strange combination of European and Chinese food. Compared with other Holiday Inn Express hotels, the furniture is quite old.
