Although the main areas were “newer or renovated” the bathroom and room could use a touch up for sure! There is no bathroom on each floor, rather only one on the groundfloor which is next to the cafeteria and reception! I don’t like it necessarily for anyone to see me going to or out of the bathroom! It was also smelling very bad and could definitely be cleaned more often during the day! there are common sinks with the men’s bathroom! The room has no shades on the window so you get up very early from the sunlight! The receptionists don’t all speak english and it was pretty hard to communicate some times!

I love the location. It's in the Xicheng district, very close to the neighborhoods known for shopping and dining. The staff were incredible. Efficient, thoughtful, kind. There's a cafe on the roof with a view of Baita Temple and a cafe on the first floor as well. The layout is beautiful, the rooms are spotless. I can't emphasize how much I like this place. The bathroom...could be cleaner. That's just a general issue in Beijing overall, but I was definitely too scared to use the shower or toilets.
