It was nice. The location was accessible to the areas to visit. I walked outside at night and it’s nice to see locals and be surrounded by local businesses so you get to experience how it is living in China without living in it. The property is old and it seems there are no renovations to the property. The room smelled musky and has smoke smell. I see smoking anywhere is normal in China but walking in my room or the lobby restroom and smell that makes my allergies kick in automatically.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast has a good variety. 15mins walk to train station was quite reasonable for us. Carpetting and bedding needs to be change. They were really old and dusty. The mattress and pillows were too thin. Room was quite stuffy even after adjusting the room temperature and ventilation.

Brakefast OK. Some of your team members took advantage of the situation by charging higher taxi fares than they should have.

Room was musty when air con was off for too long. Gym and pool were closed at the same time for renovations.

Breakfast is varied and good. First, free breakfast was already included in our stay when I booked the hotel but when we checked in they said that we did not have free breakfast but that they would give it to us if we gave them a good review...after they re-checked they acknowledged the mistake. The place is old and smells of smoke. The air conditioning in our room did not work properly and as a result I had a very hard time sleeping.

I really enjoyed the breakfast selection and the convenient location, with plenty of affordable restaurants nearby. Booking taxis via Didi was also very easy—cars usually arrived within minutes. However, one big downside was the smoking issue. The floor I was first assigned to had a strong cigarette smell in both the corridor and my room due to other guests smoking indoors. Although the staff eventually moved me to another floor after I complained twice, the smell was still noticeable at times. I appreciate the staff’s effort to help, but it seems smoking inside rooms and corridors remains a challenge here.

I received excellent service from Anita Liang upon check-in at the front desk. When I entered the room, there was a hand written greeting note by Weixiang with a small gift. It was a pleasant surprise. The room windows (outside) were not cleaned, see attached picture. There are rooms for improvement on the breakfast selections. Some of the foods were slightly cold too.

The location was not too far away but not too close to any attraction. A bit of a hike to the nearest subway station. The Temples of Heaven despite the name is too far to walk to from the hotel. Perhaps for us the biggest problem is the staff did not speak English.

It’s very neat and the location is good for different kinds of things. If they improved the food with more continental foods.

Staff were very helpful and they were very welcoming especially James Liu at the front desk. The air conditioning was a bit warm .
