The staff were very friendly and tried very hard to make sure I felt welcomed staying at their hotel. It is really walking distance to many attractions. I like the bidet in our bathroom. It allowed us to use less toilet paper. I also like that all bathroom linens were individual plastic sealed (there is worry of them being tainted when delivered). There shower door has a magnet strip on it. It helped to close the door. But this also caused the door to "slam" hard even when we tried to close the door softly. This noise was audible in our room when the suites immediately next to us used their shower. It was some what annoying. The toilet is bit coarse (so a bidet is very helpful). Since the hotel is in a securtiy sensitive area (ie. Great Hall of the People, Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, etc), there is a road block at the entrance of the street leading to the hotel, and all ride hailing vehicles will not picked up passengers at the road block, you may need to walk about 150 metres to allow them to pick you up.
