Boutique hotel. Very authentic. Western breakfast is spaghetti Bolognese. I am not kidding.

It was a very unique boutique hotel in a historical building- a lot of character and felt luxurious. Also wanted to add that despite the language barrier, the staff went above and beyond to help us get in touch with one of the travel vendors. They were very helpful and very kind to us.We truly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back this wonderful hotel :) The rooms were a little small. Felt abit sorry for the cats in the display corner

Perfect location (but not in a hutong). Nice architectural style --- traditional but modernized. Comfy bed. Small room. Only one small window (traditional, I guess). No balcony, but there is a "common area" and rooftop terrace. Room was very dusty and dry. A bit expensive for the rudimentary accomodations. Staff were fine, but not exceptional.
