Perfect location and wonderful community vibe for my first stop in China!Beijing was our first destination in China, and staying at this hotel made the beginning of our trip so much easier! The location is excellent, right in the city center with easy access to various tourist attractions and located very close to the metro station. The room was incredibly spacious and comfortable.The staff is extremely friendly and always willing to help with everything. Since it was our first time in the country, they were lifesavers—especially with helping us finish setting up our Alipay app and assisting with booking tickets and reservations. I also really enjoyed breakfast time; it was wonderful because all the travelers share their stories and travel plans with each other. Highly recommended for a social, welcoming, and convenient stay!

Everything was clean, tidy and really comfortable. The staff was very friendly and kind. They took the time to help us with every single aspect of our trip so that not only our stay was nice, but to make sure our whole experience in China was comfortable. They made the cutest breakfast and even made us a handmade goodbye gift in Spanish, which got us emotional. If you are planning a trip to China, i really recommend this place. The warmest souls work here. 10/10

The staff were super friendly and helpful. Location was ideal for major sites and in a trendy area for food, coffee, bars, shopping Just a heads up that the hotel in an old building, in a protected area of Hutong, so the entry looks a bit old but soon forgotten as everything is so good.

Excellent location in the heart of old Beijing. Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. When we arrived, we didn’t have cash for the cab driver. Hotel staff immediately paid him and I reimbursed. Staff taught us to use Alipay and WeChat and made walking tour suggestions. Great shower water pressure and strong air conditioning. The accommodations are clean, comfortable but very modest. This is not a 4 star western hotel — it’s a basic Chinese hotel. The shower has excellent water pressure and lots of hot water but it creates puddles in the bathroom.

Friendly staff, incredibly helpful, always cheerful. Great location for visiting most tourist sites. As they say themselves, it's not fancy. But it has everything you need. Includes breakfast and free guest laundry. I was very happy with Happy Dragon Alley Hotel! Nothing.
