Good location to the purpose of my trip. Old building. Smell of mold everywhere. My room key was not working most of the days, so it was pretty annoying have to down to the lobby everyday for them to fix it. Breakfast very basic but decent. No chest to keep your valuable belongings in. Food options in the menu does not include the famous local culinary, no Açaí, no Manicoba, no vatapá and other local delicacies, which is a shame since the city is worldwide famous for its food. No shampoo or conditioner in the bathrooms, just a tiny bar of soap, very Motel level. Shame.

Everything

I like the very spacious rooms and large beds I was extremely disappointed with this hotel. It was not even possible to heat up my own bottle of water for my baby to prepare porridge/ oatmeal. Instead, I was required to buy hot water just to make my baby’s porridge. I have never experienced anything like this anywhere else. This alone is enough reason for me to never stay at this hotel again.

Affordable and the fact that this was the only hotel that had two large double sized beds. All other hotels it was almost impossible to stay with two adults and two kids in one room. This was a big plus for us, the room was big and spacious. The beds were okay, but could be even better if they had a 2 inch mattress topper for each bed for added comfort, otherwise it was a bit hard to sleep on. The pool was nice, good temperature and good size. There was a huge Supermarket within 5 min walking distance, close to a Market too which is across the street from the large Formosa Supermarkt. There would usually always be a taxi just outside the hotel, but overall (Uber) is the way to go (except) that usually we always got a tiny car to move around. Same breakfast everyday (a bit more variety would be nice) but it was tasty overall. The Airconditioning one could only turn on and off, and it either got too cold and when off, the room got humid very fast. The wifi was not great, some nights we didn't have internet at all. This really could use an upgrade and assistance was not much help either. Only one flat pillow per person, One pillow could be fine if it was thicker and bigger. But otherwise one would need three pillows for more comfort. The surrounding area does look a bit getto/poor neighborhood (esthetically).

Room sizes are large. Very old building. Bed mattresses very uncomfortable, bathroom walls with mold, air conditioner doesn’t have temperature control, very noisy. Breakfast terrible. The hotel is far from most tourists attractions.

Spacious rooms and helpfull staff. The bathroom had mould, AC made a lot of noice when on. Could give thicker blankets to sleep. I asked but it was indicated that they do not provide such. Although, right in front of me guests came to ask for blanket. Could have been the language barrier.
