Cabbage Hostel

No shoes in the room, and they provide slippers. I arrived after 11pm, but was able to arrange a late check-in. A little bit out of the way. The towel provided was small.

Super clean, silent and organized hostel in a nice stand- alone house with a garden. My second time here and l enjoyed staying for a week. I like the neighborhood and the park across the hostel. Not a party hostel and not much social vibes, perfect for people looking for a silent place where they can have excellent sleep, read/work and cook. Kitchen has any utensil that you would need or not, free coffee, tea and filtered water is offered. Closeby there are gyms and a lot of supermarkets.

There is rules that you can't use kitchen from 10pm to 8am which is not very comfortable for travellers who came back after 10pm. Also there is additional fee for laundry and it's about $10.

I stayed in just a couple of hours but from what I've seen, it's spacious, interior is lovely, beds are comfortable and there are plenty of toilets and showers. I liked the merch at the reception and got myself a tote bag!

Everything is terrible Employees is inadequate, bothering my personal details. I showed them my ID while registering and inappropriate manager was not asked me anything else. Afterwards someone begin to ask me how much my private documents I have which is not necessarily to know due the registration was already done and booking was already paid. Therefore someone of the hostel employees ask me to pay in cash double payment was issued (card plus cash) and then just get me off from the place. Owner and managers dumb and that place should have to replaced name to ***bage hostel where that people come from. Simple as that. People from EU/US never go this place, NEVER! One of ten is more then actual value of this place. Report was submitted to the authorities of this country. Place will be closed and that people should be not exist as they are

Literally everything. The design, the decorations, the facilities, the coziness and the arrangement of everything, the small details in every corner inside and in the garden, the rules they put so everyone can enjoy their stay there. I think the owner is probably an architect or an artist of some sort who stayed in lots of hostels before. The bathrooms and toilets could be cleaned more often. Note to some guests: please shit like a human. We are not animals. And clean after yourselves.

Cold approach, literally and figuratively. I was cold all the time, and the owners even opened windows, no heating in the living area, the blanket barely saved me. The lady at the reception was not very friendly. My Booking price was about 40 euro, but when I arrived, she told me another price and said it was tax. Suspicious but ok. Then she said she owed me 100 dinar because she didn't have the money then, she asked to come in the morning. In the morning, she still didn't have it. Okay, I decided to wait for the check out. Suddenly, I'm told they owe me 70 dinar, not 100. Why? Well, idk, she said it was like that since the beginning even though she told me otherwise. All in all, be ready to spend more than you expect, looks like some shady stuff is going on there. P.s. The bathrooms are always flooded, not very comfortable. The location is nice, but I wouldn't stay again

It's quiet at night, so you can sleep :) If you want to chat at night, there are separate areas for that, so you won't disturb those who are already sleeping. There is a personal lamp above each bed. Personal locker. The hostel provides slippers, so it is a clean place. I've stayed in several hostels in Belgrade, and this one is by far the best, so I don't see any point in looking for another place to stay. Чай - печеньки!

This hostel is just fabulous; most travelers end up extending their stay! It's high-quality, very clean, and completely safe; one can see how basically everything is designed for your comfort. It will be perfect for you if you're a digital nomad, as it has a coworking area with desks and chairs. Big lockers. If you're tired of eating on the road, this is also fantastic as it features a very well-equipped kitchen (including boxes to store your food safely). You'll find specialty coffee shops nearby (Kafeterija is 1 min away, and Sonder is maybe a 15 min walk). A cheap Aldi supermarket (maybe 400m away), and a smaller Maxi convenience store (250m). For those playing basketball, there's a decent court just opposite the building (you can borrow a ball from the hostel). There's also a calisthenics outdoors gym about 200m away. Bus travel is free in Belgrade, and it's only 3 stops to the center. Also, there's a direct trolleybus from Belgrade Central new train station (#40). Most certainly recommended!!

everything from the outside seemed nice. beds were comfy and it was spacious. kitchen had neat boxes for your dried goods. nice tea and coffee included. good area outside as well. bus stop wasn't too far away the rules. there were so many. i felt like i would be walking on eggshells waiting for someone to yell at me and tell me what im doing wrong. the kitchen opens only from 8am-10pm, so you can't get water/tea/coffee outside of those hours, or any of your food, which must be stored inside the kitchen. also they play music loud from 8:30am-11:00pm, which wakes people on the ground level up but get mad if you make a single noise past 11pm. there is a basketball court in front of the hostel and at all hours, you can hear the noise of the ball. it echoes into the bedroom windows, especially since they're left open throughout the day and night. the bathrooms are small so it makes it hard to have any stuff in there. i see what they're trying with the rules, but it takes away from the hostel experience. it's also hard to connect with other guests and there are no real community events to bring people together. i'm bummed because the staff was nice, but kept to each other
