Sara girl who was on reception was very polite with sweet smile Everything in the hotel was old; it looks like nothing has been renovated since it was built. Only the price for the service was good—everything else deserves very low ratings. The last thing they seem to have done is purchase an LCD TV. The beds were old, the mattresses as well, and the bedding looked worn out, just like the towels. The laminate flooring in some places was swollen from water. The furniture was so old that worms had started eating it—we could even hear them at night making cracking noises. The hotel as a building, with parking and a yard, is well organized, but it needs a complete renovation from the ground up. There was no refrigerator in the room; we asked at the reception, but they didn’t bring one. There was also a problem with the TV receiver. The room was dirty, with visible cobwebs—it did not look clean at all. We didn’t see any cleaning staff in the hotel, which suggests that hygiene is not given much attention. This is a cheap hotel for an overnight stay, but not for a longer stay. It feels more like a student dormitory than a hotel. There is a bus stop a 5-minute walk away, with good connections and regular buses to the city center. However, the location itself is far from the center, and the bus ride usually takes 25–45 minutes depending on traffic. The only bright point is the staff, who really tried to be polite. For a hotel of this size, more staff is needed. The bathrooms smell like sewage and have no ventilation. The liquid soap had an unpleasant odor and looked like it hadn’t been changed for years.

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Centar Balasevic. The hotel offers great value for money, with clean and comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and a welcoming atmosphere throughout. Everything was well-organized, and the overall experience was smooth and enjoyable. It’s a great choice if you’re looking for a reliable and affordable place to stay in Belgrade. Restaurant is great, with a cozy interior reminiscent of a ski resort. I would definitely recommend it and would gladly stay here again.

Really good accommodation: clean, friendly staff, good breakfast, spacious. There was nothing bad for me ?♀️

Very affordable for the price, good breakfast and parking in front of the building.

I really liked the estate and how everything is laid out. In its prime, it was an excellent location. The building itself and the details are exceptional; it's clear that a lot of money and effort went into its construction. All praise to the staff! Especially for their kindness and helpfulness. Since the restaurant is not accessible by wheelchair, they offered to bring breakfast to the hotel dining room. Very accommodating! Unfortunately, my wife uses a wheelchair. When I search for accommodation on booking.com, I always apply filters for wheelchair accessibility. Hotel Centar Balašević consists of several buildings, but unfortunately, the hotel's restaurant is inaccessible by wheelchair due to stairs. I suggest arranging a path by the covered tennis court, as the elevator in the hotel also leads to the basement level, which is more aligned with the restaurant. Another option is to improve the existing path from the back side, which is currently in poor condition. The path should be at least one meter wide and without any level changes - edges. Also, the bathroom had very poor, dimm lighting and the AC filters were completely clogged with dust, so i needed to remove them to get the AC working properly.
