Hotel City Savoy

Sve mi se dopada, cest sam gost ovog hotela, osoblje tokom dana je sjajno, sobe su moderne, dorucak odlican? Pisala sam to i ranije steta sto hotel nema À la carte restoran, samo hotelski kafic koji radi do 22h. Zbog leta uvek dolazim posle ponoci i osoblje koje radi nocu je uvek neko ” kome je bas to prva nedelja na poslu”. Iz nekog razloga se ti momci menjaju nonstop i naravno ne znaju da vam odgovore na osnovne info tipa ”do kada je dorucak”. To nije njihova krivica nego onog ko stalno menja nocno osoblje Na zalost. Ovo je vise suggestija, ne kritika. P. S. Jednosobna soba u kojoj sam bila ovog puta imala je samo jedan prikljucak za struju?

Nice big and modern room. The shower works exceptionally well. Very good breakfast. Coffee could better. We were surprised at how quiet the hotel was even though there were many guests. Ideally located. Good wifi. The bathroom lighting is quite weak, which is not very convenient for grooming.

A really good place to stay in Belgrade. The hotel is well located on the edge of Dorćol and within easy walking distance of Skadarlija, with plenty of bars (samo pivo being our favourite), restaurants and sights nearby. Despite being so central, it was surprisingly quiet. Our room was a really decent size, clean and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was also a good size and the shower was excellent. Breakfast wasn't bad with a decent selection of hot and cold options. Overall, the hotel was a comfortable and convenient base for exploring Belgrade. This is absolutely on us, but we did spend a day or two wondering why our room hadn’t been serviced before realising there’s a little panel by the bed where you press a button to request cleaning! Doh! Very much not a criticism, just worth knowing for anyone planning to stay.

Everything was good

Our room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, so we had to keep the window open. However, this was somewhat expected, as there was a very strong smell of tobacco at the reception. If you have an allergy or are sensitive to cigarette smoke, I wouldn’t recommend this place. At breakfast, there was expired yogurt, which we had to ask to be replaced. Then I noticed that the margarine was also expired by two months!!! This is totally unacceptable! The furniture in the room is quite old. There are no shelves in the bathroom. The staff don’t seem very attentive to guests, and there’s often no one at the front desk.

Location was quiet yet close to everything. Breakfast was excellent. Room was small but the tall ceilings made it feel bigger than it was. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Spa was beautiful and spacious. The spa was nice but a pain to use. There wasn’t a reservation system and the door into the spa was see through with no way to lock it. Both times we tried to use it, several people tried to open the door and saw us half nude which was very uncomfortable. They need to have a reservation system and install a door lock so that you can use it privately and comfortably.

They don't have vegan options for breakfast but they provided some fruits and vegetables.

That although was mentioned that it has private parking with a fee in reality it was an open space next to the hotel. So no real security involved, just a parking position

We stayed in for 3 days and liked the hotel from the first step in. Great location, freshly remodeled interior with contemporary accent, pleasant experience at all.

A very convenient location. Not super central (which guarantees privacy and quietness), but 10 min walking would get you everywhere. The breakfast was pristine. Great selection of local food (I think), but also a lot of more traditional options. A very pleasant spa (where I’ve been alone). Finally, super-friendly staff. I managed to check in 2 hours in advance. None

The staff/receptionist were very friendly and knowledge able. Safe, quiet(!), great location, close to center and transportation. Excellent breakfast, amazing selection for this size of hotel - and everything was fresh! Bed was very comfortable and room also very quiet.
