Near the train station. The room was so big. There is public onsen but i did not try. Staff didnt add more food on breakfast line. If you come down 9.00am nothing to eat.

It's maybe a five minute walk to Beppu train station and on the other side, you have easy access to the bus terminal with a lot of restaurants in between. Plus, it's always nice to have friendly staff. This room in particular was way too small. I felt like I had to leave the room to change my mind it was so small.

It was just a few minutes' walk from Beppu (train) Station; and it took less than ten minutes to get to the main bus terminal. Also, the staff were quite friendly even though their English wasn't much better than my Japanese. The room with just a single bed was far too small. For the price, I wasn't expecting a palace, but there was no closet to store my luggage and I had to twist and turn to use the toilet because it was so crammed. I'm not a big person, but I was constantly bumping my elbows and knees against something.

Its wonderful staff and the owners. The fact it’s very well kept yet hasn’t changed over the past 34 years (this was my third time at this hotel) just like Beppu itself. I’m sure I will return. When I had to leave.

The Hotel may be old but clean and necessary upgrade was already done, we liked the nostalgia furniture and decor including the old style key, we really loved the spacious room and huge closet (biggest closet ever seen)!. Also the location was right beside of the station and so convenient, Spa was very nice, the view from the window to the Beppu Tower was beautiful. We stayed another hotel in Beppu (one of well-known hotel) but we definitely come back to this Hotel again. The overall experience was fabulous. the key was only one key, thus when both going to the Spa needs some coordination.
