Great location rooms were absolutely beautiful !!!! I would stay again !

Their guest house is the best place to stay in Berat. It sits close to the main road but still lets you experience a traditional Albanian home. The room had gorgeous decor, three windows looking out over the river, and plenty of space. Everything was renovated, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. We'll definitely be back.

The location is great. The host was lovely too. I loved the property, and the host. The only thing I disliked was seeing struggling dogs and cats all over Berat. I wish the locals would come together and help with the stray crisis. Even leaving bowls of water and food would help so much. As a tourist it’s difficult to enjoy such a beautiful town when there is so much suffering. Also the plastic pollution was out of control and the Osum river is heavily polluted too. Again, as a tourist it’s hard to recommend to visit Berat. If the locals would push authorities to care about these things I think things could change.

Everything was top-notch: clean, comfortable bed, lovely furnishings, excellent location, fantastic breakfast, friendly hosts. That we couldn’t stay longer.

Lovely property with kind, very friendly owner. Very good breakfast—which you can eat outside if weather permits and enjoy the view of the river & the city. Just be prepared to walk up a few stone steps to the guest house, but that is the case all over Berat. And Berat is beautiful—much larger than I had realized. Also, fantastic value. Nothing

We loved our stay at this charming old town guesthouse. The bed was comfortable, the hot water plentiful and the location was perfect. We had a great view of the river from our window. The breakfast was big and delicious. .

Very comfortable and lovely place in a historic and magical setting. Joseph was very kind to us. He cooked us the best breakfast of our whole trip!

Amazing location, charming old historical building with modern comforts. Close to all attractions. The room, while small was perfectly adequate and our twin room was bright and inviting. Breakfast was delicious. Nothing

Loved everything about this charming hotel in the old city of Berat. The rooms were tastefully decorated with local arts and crafts, creating a cozy atmosphere. It was in an excellent location. The owner arranged for us to have parking. Staff was extremely gracious.

We loved everything about this small guesthouse. It was beautifully decorated with traditional Albanian rugs. The staff and host were wonderful, friendly, and informative. Our host even took us to the main bus station. Breakfast was incredible. The location was within walking distance to everything. Absolutely perfect! Nothing

Pure magic. Cozy, historical with little details that made the stay exceed expectations. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the room had gorgeous woodworking on the ceiling and the bathroom seemed to be carved out of the hills. Breakfast was exceptional, and I enjoyed a snack of Berati olives with an excellent red wine from a local vintner. I hope to come back! NA

Beautiful traditional Albanian rooms with renovated bathrooms, right in the heart of Berat. Easy walk to restaurants. Parking available. Big breakfast. We loved it!

On Saturday evening, there was very loud live music playing next door. I couldn’t sleep until after the band finished playing at midnight.

What a special place! We loved our stay in Berat and were so glad we got to stay at this location. The hostess was so warm and friendly--and her breakfasts were wonderful! The location was great... It's a small town, but even so, this place was right in the heart of everything. The views walking down the outside stairs were so beautiful. The wifi was good and the rooms (we had three) were all perfect! We would love to stay here again!

The room was impressive, very authentic, the bathroom had a rocky wall (wauwww). The breakfast was also above expectations. Make sure to ask before your stay where to park. Don't arrange it last minute.

This beautiful traditional house is perfectly located in the center of Berat, allowing you to truly feel the city’s unique atmosphere. The rooms are tastefully decorated, comfortable, and equipped with air conditioning and a fridge. The host is exceptionally kind and goes out of their way to ensure a pleasant and memorable stay. A freshly prepared breakfast is included and adds a lovely touch to the experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy and authentic stay in Berat! Nothing

It's location is convenient - in the heart of Berat and just off Rruga Antipatrea, very close to the new bridge. It's not far up the hill. Don't let Google Maps mislead you in going a long way across a lot of steps. Joseph was a wonderful host. He met all of our needs and cooked us a delicious breakfast each morning. I can't think of anything.

A great place to stay, the family made us feel welcome. Difficult to open the windows in the bedroom.

We enjoyed an excellent full breakfast, included with the room. My brother and sister-in-law visited from the USA. A one-night trip to Berat was a must! We had a wonderful time, thanks to the exceptional hospitality of the hosts. The facility is spotless, the rooms are lovely and well-appointed. Guest House J. Prifti is a historic building carefully converted into a small guest house. Renovation is preservation when done correctly and great care has been taken to preserve this beautiful structure which was once a family home. The location is fantastic, steps away from many restaurants, shops, and historic attractions. It is perfect for solo travelers. Be sure to visit the Fani Winery tasting room only a few steps away! The winery is also part of this family business. The wine is SUPERB! There is nothing I did not like, everything was fantastic.

Location was perfect in one of the typical houses of Berati Old Town, but still only a few meters from the main road. Parking is not easy there but the owner found (or had), a perfect spot for us on the street. Very kind from him! Tasty breakfast in the morning. Nothing
