staff are friendly, our room was spotless and exactly like the pictures. all staff at the property were very kind and helpful, would 100% recommend.

3rd time i stayed and i knew what to expect. The location is excellent for hiking and the breakfast although simple is good perfect for hiking preparation. The staff is very friendly and helpful and checking in and out couldn't be easier. Bust stop is right next door. It was fine for my purposes as i came to hike but a bigger fridge and some spoons etc. in the room would be nice and more convenient.

Exceptional

Well-located, especially for hiking (Müllerthal trail).

it's a family owned hotel; I had the pleasure of meeting 3 generations. The moment I stepped in I felt somewhat ' at home": lots of original furniture. There is a dining room, an indoor terras, a bar (smoking allowed !) An outdoor lush garden. The room (2 p) and ensuite bathroom was spacious with watercooker etc as advertised. I was baffled with breakfast: an overwhelming choice of bread, sweets, fruit and plenty excellent coffee. Indoor parking is a nice touch as well. They speak french, german, english and even a bit dutch (in that order: so I hope Dutch people will show some courtesy by trying any other language except there own :-) !) Berdorf itself has nothing much to offer; but excellent located from hiking trails within a perimeter of 5 - 10 km. Busses are free but I stuck to my car since I wanted to do/see a lot. There was just 1 tiny snag: a couple with a crying child whom I could hear in my room.

Nice hotel, clean, garage available, free parking, close to a bus stop (buses are free), wifi works well. we got Easter gifts during breakfast, that was very col. Breakfast only cold though enough

scond time i stayed here this year. excellent located for hiking the mullerthal trails. The town is quiet but after all day hiking that's fine for me. Bus stop next door is great to catch a 10 minute bus ride to Echternach where the cactus supermarket is right next to the bus station. the breakfast is simple but good with lots of fresh bread, fruits, yogurt and cold cuts. The rooms are big and comfortable. I would like a firmer pillow but that's personal preference only. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. I would like breakfast to be earlier than 8am to start my hikes earlier as well but that's only if you like very early starts like me and go hiking all day.

Location excellent for my purpose breakfast was fantastic. 08.00 was a little late for breakfast. Dinner was a little to fast

The location is fantastic, with many beautiful hikes on the doorstep. The breakfast is also fantastic, with many different options to set you up for a long day of walking. The room was large and clean. The staff were very friendly. Would definitely stay again The mattress was a bit old and sunken in the middle, however nice bedding. The walls/doors are also quite thin. There was no WiFi in our room

location was good for hiking the mullerthal, bus stop is next door for travelling to nearby towns and trail 2 passes in front of the hotel. breakfast was simple but good with lots of bread choice and fresh fruits. Staff was very friendly. pillows were too soft (personal opinion) but i didn't bother asking for other ones as i was hiking everyday and too tired anyway so there might be other choices if you ask. I would like to sit have a beer and a snack when coming back from hiking which i missed at the hotel. But there is a place opposite so not a big deal

Staff is very friendly and speaks multiple languages. Everything feels traditional and decent, which I believe to be a good thing. The breakfast is excellent with fresh products. It was also possible to dine at location and dinner was good as well. Only thing I can think of is to wait a bit longer with cleaning the rooms, now this happened during breakfast and we were met with a chlorine smell everyday when coming back from breakfast. But this is a minor issue, we really enjoyed our stay.

Rooms were clean Staff did not speak English or Germanen very well, day of arrival it was not positie to get dinner because you had to reservate.
