Breakfast was nice. The property has an ecellent restaurant where we had dinner. One night there was a coasy jazz concert. It was nice also to explore Maria Plain monastery church and gardens. The rooms lack AC although during our stay the temperature was not so high as to make the stay unconfortable.

The location was perfect - close enough to the city, but far enough to be peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle of Salzburg. The outsize area to eat/drink was gorgeous - a beautiful view and covered under the trees with a gentle breeze. The perfect spot to enjoy a drink and in the afternoon / evening. The hotel was clean, staff was friendly and the rooms were spacious. They were clean and well put together. A gem. We were there in the midst of a heatwave, and the rooms don't have air conditioning, so it was warm. We kept the windows and doors to the balcony open, and that helped. A fan would have been great.

I had a nice room, but there was no soap or soap dispenser of any kind. Upon arrival and to simply wash my hands, I had to unpack my shower gel. Stinginess?? Another oddity was that I had to keep asking for just plain yogurt each morning, which wasn't met with much friendliness. When the rather small bowl on the breakfast buffet was empty, that seemed to be it for that day.
