Great stuff. Good breakfast. Friendly bar. Some rooms are very small. Small beds (not all but some) are good for one person, but not big enough for a couple.

Large Room, comfy bed, very good breakfast Shower fiddly and took a long time to get the temperature right, also had to stand close to the end of the bath. Only two tea bags supplied.

I had a lovely stay at The Malt House, when visiting for a wedding at Berkeley Castle. It's a great location for walking to the castle. I had a very generously sized room and the most delicious breakfast! Although the hotel and location were great my absolute favourite thing was the staff - everyone was so kind, warm and welcoming. They went above and beyond to ensure I had a good stay and made me feel so comfortable while staying by myself.

The location. The food. Relaxing atmosphere in the communal areas. The staff lovely and friendly. The beds were comfortable. We were nice and warm. The room was awful we were very unhappy. Cramped, Noise from a machine or something. outside. The bathroom tatty. We expected better for the money we paid. We will not be back although we intend to visit Berkeley more often. We will find somewhere else to stay outside of Berkeley and drive in. We do not mind paying a good price for nice accommodation but disappointed in MaltHouse.

Really friendly welcome, staff and the food was amazing. Breakfast was good and plentiful. The location for explore this last of Gloucester was spot on, easy to get around. I would recommend this hotel as a short break if exploring the surrounding area. I felt the rooms need a little tlc, our main bedroom was big enough but not superior as it was listed as, esp as we went for the bigger option. The bathroom was tired and needed an overall with attention to the shower and bath area. The toilet roll was in a container that was locked, not something I wanted to see when in a hotel. Felt like I was in a shopping centre cubicle without the bath! The room was also a bit dark, the lighting had to on even when it was a bright day

Breakfast very good at the time I needed for my short journey to work. Late check out time was good and the staff were very helpful. No shower gel or shampoo.

Had a lovely one night stay , very friendly and prompt check in. Room lovely and comfortable , beds very comfy. Freshly cooked evening meal which was really good., staff very friendly. Breakfast very good. Would return if we are in the area again
