Breakfasts were good with great selection of pastries or cooked breakfast -- restaurant area comfortable and airy with views to the sea. Beds were very comfortable. Parking easy . lack of tourist information , room service seems to be lacking.

The beach and the breakfast was excellent No lift or A CON. The railway station was quiet busy but the nearest bus stop was 20 minutes away and the walk to the bus stop was all up hill and part of the walk was with out a foot path.

Service was excellent. Staff engaging and clearly aiming to provide exceptional service. Saw a number of negative reviews about staff before our arrival, so was a little concerned. The negative feedback was obviously well received with staff doing all they could to satisfy. We had a seaview room and being there on the hottest day of the year, the least I expected was a portable air conditioner unit. The room was stifling hot. There was a Dyson fan and a separate desk fan but that just stirred the hot air. Would recommend management consider a different solution for a cooler room, especially if these heatwaves are likely to become a norm. Attention also need on the shower screen door which did not close properly so the bathroom floor ended up being very wet. Crack in bathroom hand basin.

Food was great, staff were wonderful so friendly and made the experience amazing. Every area of the hotel is spotless! 100% will return Only issue was no ac in rooms & during the heatwave it was 28 degrees in our room! They did bring us extra fans to try to help :)

Beautiful beach front location. Good food. Staff very friendly We were in Sea House which was a bit disappointing for the money we paid. Not in the hotel itself and opposite the railway station. Also a bit dated and not what I had in mind when booking. The staff were lovely but clearly not enough and they were so rushed off their feet. Took 25mins to get a coffee at breakfast. Not the staff’s fault as they were trying their hardest but simply not enough of them.
