Excellent service/staff, facilities and location. Very comfortable rooms, highly recommend

Great hotel with convenient location for walking to Biarritz. Friendly staff, spoke English and gave great tips. Rooms were clean and even had a room with triple beds that worked well for the three of us. Heated rooftop pool could have been warmer as we had some cloudy and cooler temperatures.

The decor is beautiful and the location is fantastic as it’s just at the top of old town, so just outside of the busy streets. Nice and quiet…but right there Nothing….except umbrellas around the pool would be a good addition as the sun is very strong.

Very nice hotel located a half block from the sea. It has a deceptive facade - once inside, the interior is light, fresh and well appointed. The staff was excellent in every aspect. Our room spacious. The amount of storage options in our room was truly impressive. Our comfort was truly a priority. We had a side view of the ocean which was lovely. We used the fitness center which offered a wide selection of equipment. During the winter, the pool is not open, but we went up to the bar and walked around the roof patio to take a look. It is very spacious with spectacular views. The location is walkable to everything you need. The parking was a bit precarious. I was surprised that with spa facilities and a fitness center that a sauna was not available - that would have been exceptional.

The pillows were a bit uncomfortable for my liking - the softer one was tooo big and it orthopedic one was a bit too high, but that is just my thing.

Very clean Very expensive the valet parking

Absolutely gorgeous property overlooking the ocean. Rooftop has a pool and bar/restaurant (where breakfast is served) with amazing views of the city and bay. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace is amazing and well worth the extra cost. There’s a beach nearby (down a long hill) that’s only swimmable at low tide. Also a short walk through town to other beaches. There are other hotels in town that are likely closer to the beach (not in terms of distance but height-wise as this one is on a bit of a cliff) but I don’t know that they are as luxurious as this one. So it’s a bit of a balancing act but you can’t go wrong with La Talaia. Tip: most of the beaches in Biarritz have big waves but there’s one in the middle (can’t remember the name) that’s sheltered so it has very calm water that’s great for kids. Balconies would be nice but not available in this building. But view is still amazing.

We had the honor to be among the first guests staying at this property, the 3rd night after its re-opening. We had to count on rendered images of the architectural plan. There wasn't any actual picture nor any guest review available. the place didn't let us down. It is beautifully designed with a local chic. The family room was spacious and beautiful. the rooftop is extraordinary with the Pool, bar and restaurant. The stuff was super attentive although it was the first days of its operation and all was very new. location is highly convenient, just a few steps from the lively town center. Nothing. I am happy to came back again at the first chance.

Good breakfast, convenient location near the beach and within walking distance of city center. As other reviews say, windows do not open in some of the rooms, I really think this should be improved.
