Biarritz Surf Lodge Chambre d'hôtes

This bijou hotel was intimate but with high standards. The owners were welcoming and accommodating. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was well appointed and the shower products were lovely. The breakfast was plentiful. It was near Milady beach and on the bus route. Sharing breakfast with the other occupants was very nice. If you wanted to be near the centre this is about a twenty minute walk but it is also on bus route. Also Biarritz has excellent cycle paths.

Tastefully decorated and well-equipped. Comfortable beds. Close to great beaches. I would have appreciated more soundproofing of the room and better cleaning.

Breakfast was exceptional. The owner laid out a large selection of fresh breads, homemade apple flan, cereals, cheeses, charcuterie ham, juices, jams and eggs to cook yourself - all self service to eat at a large communal table, or eat outside in the beautiful garden. The whole place had a tranquil laid back feel. It was a peaceful haven to return to each day. The rooms were beautiful, well appointed, very comfy bed and stunning bathroom. Lovely 15 minute walk into Biarritz town centre across the top of the town, you have a sea view most of the way. There are also brilliant authentic restaurants nearby and a well stocked supermarket. If you are thinking about booking this place, do it. Nothing

It is gorgeous. Beautiful decor and furnishing. Light and airy. Very relaxing. Nora is a great host- gave useful info and keeps everything to a high standard. Lovely communal space inside and out. Bathroom spacious and again all lovely. Breakfast was great- buffet style with fresh baguette, croissant, cake, cheese, yoghurt etc. space in a large fridge freezer and cupboard also to store food. All in all is a gem in Biarritz. A few mins walk to the surf beaches, and right by bus stop into town. Guests have use of surf boards and body boards We mostly walked to town and is 20-30 mins depending where you are heading lovely sunset bar on the way. We easily explored the coast to Bayonne and down to Saint Jean de Luz. Could also go down to San Sébastien. All in all was a great break. It wasn’t long enough and we will be back. Nothing to dislike

This was such a lovely place to stay. Great location, clean and beautiful room, wonderful staff. We would absolutely stay again! It exceeded our expectations. :) Nothing!

Beautiful design. Spaciousness of courtyard and living room. Relax atmosphere. Super friendly owner.

We loved the interior of the property and the garden. The room was beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay. The breakfast every morning was amazing. Nora and Philippe are amazing hosts with plenty of recommendations for Biarritz and the surrounding area and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.

I loved this place. A beautiful house in a beautiful city. The owners have made a very stylish house with lovely rooms. They also couldn’t have been more helpful. Their breakfast was also lovely. I would recommend this place to everyone Nothing
