I have had several issues with other hotels in this area trying to charge an extra fee for my service dog, but that was not a problem here. They did charge a refundable $20 fee, and we had no trouble getting it back at checkout. Pros: The hotel was very clean, the lobby smelled freshly disinfected, staff did not create issues over my service dog, the refundable $20 fee was returned without trouble, and the hotel is a good affordable option. Cons: The hotel is older and may not be the type of place some travelers would normally choose.

I arrived at 9:30pm on Friday August 14th and no one was in the office until 10:20pm then when i checked in I got asked for a 20 dollar cash deposit knowing I already had paid through Expedia then the room it self was awful the room smelt like weed and cigarette smoke also the floor was filthy and the tub was nasty you see the cigarette butts in printed into the tub the shower head was filthy along with the toilet being nasty also the ac in the room wasn’t cooling the room down at all. When you lay down in the bed the bed makes to much noise it sounds like it was going to break. The bedding was horrible cigarette burns in the blankets I would not recommend on staying there. The whole entire property was horrible.

The hotel is old and that’s ok, the floors and all were clean. The room had an awful smell, old musty, obviously cigarette smell, sheet had cigarette burn hole in it. Bedding most definitely needs updating. Has potential but the smell had us nauseous.

Only thing good about this place was the price!! Everything!! We got there and we t to check in, lady behind the counter was very rude absolutely no customer service at all! Walked into the room and instantly got hit with the very strong smell of mildew! Room was not what I'd call clean, bathroom inside and out of door was black from hand touching it, not being wiped down, bed were hard as the pavement outside! Pool hours said till 10pm they kicked my daughter and grandson out at 9 pm! As they were walking bk to the room my daughter seen a used surringe & needle laying in the grass between the 2 buildings!! Next morning they served breakfast (witch i did not even bother with) my mom did go for some coffee and she said no sugar out, coffee creamer was diluted and they were turning everything off at 8:20am! On the day we were to depart check out is at 11am so mom took my grandson swimming while my daughter and I packed the car, there was cigarette butts at the bottom and the owners were putting chlorine in while grandson was trying to swim, while other owners were cleaning rooms, by 10:25 they were standing next to the door as to rush us out, by 10:35 they had pushed their cart right in front of our door so everything that we tried to bring out to the car we had to walk around said cart to load our car! As we were leaving the little strange man told my daughter that our room was very messy, very messy... Mind you we asked for a garbage bag so we could clean our room some since they hadn't left us any bags the day before, and lets not forget we had to wipe everything down in the room before we could begin to unload our car into the room!

Great location close to beach, they closed the pool at 915pm. when it said 10pm. Breakfast wasnt much and also closed earlier than listed. Decent Room for price. Great for a quick trip but definitely not for a week.

Ultimately, this is a you-get-what-you-pay-for experience. The motel is no frills and severely dated, but it is clean. My first impression was awful as they requested a $20 cash-only deposit at check-in which was refundable if I checked out on time. I assume they have a big problem with people missing checkout, but I don't carry much cash and had no idea this was coming until I walked in the front door. The parking was plentiful. Generally speaking, I had a fine stay, but I wouldn't recommend this place unless you are trying to enjoy a very low cost beach vacation.

It’s good

The stay was overall not that great. The motel itself just looked seedy with seedy characters. The room itself could use some serious updating. Light fixture was old and dusty, cover and curtains very outdated. And to top it off - my husband and I were woke up in the middle of the night by our loud neighbors who were smoking, and playing loud music. And between the coughing man and crying baby, I barely slept. Oh and lets not forget having to spray to get rid of the stench from whatever they were smoking!!. First and last time staying there.

Moody spots in the room, locks broken on entry doors, property needs to be cleaned and mold removed
