The staff was friendly and helpful The property is evidently going through some much needed remodeling. The room we stayed in had not been remodeled yet and was in desperate need of it. The kitchen (we didn't need or use) was very old and even though was probably clean it didn't look clean. We could smell marijuana in the hallways and and when you walked up to the building. We spent $126 fro a room that should have never been rented in the first place.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location was very convenient to Samford University for graduation, and the price was certainly affordable. I killed three roaches, the hallway smelled like marijuana, and the room smelled like it had been chain smoked in for years. When I woke up and sat up in the fold out couch, a small beetle just wandered out from the couch cushions onto the bed. There was also a sign that said, "the dishes have been washed since the last guest, but they are not sanitized." After wondering to ourselves what that meant, I told my father after he showered, "you have now been washed, but after staying in this room you have not been sanitized." It was the worst place I have stayed in for at least the last forty years, not including the developing world. That being said, they are renovating, and the new rooms are apparently very nice, but they do not have room for two adults who are not intending to cohabitate in the same bed.

Dead bugs, no blanket or comforter upon arrival, bugs in the light fixtures. Should be closed down
-
Location It was dirty, there were blood stains on the sheets and kitchen looked like it was last cleaned a couple of years ago.

The rooms are old and the staff is rude. Do not stay here if you want a comfortable stay. We had to put the dirty towels in a bag.

Clean rooms. Looks like they are in the process of renovating. Very nice staff. Pictures they have make it seem like they have full stove but only had 2 burners to cook on no oven.

The room was beautiful and the bed was so comfortable

All sheets were filthy, didn't have enough towels, wash cloths and there wasn't room service. Trash was overflowing at trash dumpsters. This was an low quality extended stay.

The lady at the front desk was nice and got us a new room. The original building our room was in smelled so badly of weed that I was about to throw up and the room itself smelled of mildew.
-
Staff was terrible and rude. Most of the building was being renovated. Several key components of a room were missing or unfinished
-
It had major roaches

No towels upon check in

Room terrible bugs we booked for 2 nights got up in morning asked for our money back for the second night we checked out had 3 different charges on my credit card oct 18th 177.00 100.00 and 154.80 they put 226.00 back on our card so that adds up to 205.80 for the one night it was 127.00

This was worst motel I’ve ever stayed at. Staff at front desk gives you false information, and then weeks later you’re arguing with manager who is extremely rude! Terrible choice. Photos are not of actual rooms.

The buildings were not locked. Anyone could have gotten in. The stairwell and hallways were dirty, disgusting, and smelled terrible. The room was not clean like i would expect from a hotel that cost $170+ for 1 night. Stains were on the chair and carpet. The kitchen was gross. From the wall behind the stove to the fridge that was nasty inside and out.The bathroom sucked too. There was hair on the walls in the bathroom as well as questionable stains on the wall. There were ants on the table and window. I didn't even want to sit on the bed.
