Nothing Staff was rude in check in kept putting in my card details wrong meaning I had to use my own personal card when it was a work trip, breakfast was a shambles, the bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on, the carpet was sticky, just generally a rubbish experience

Breakfast was nice a little basic but tasty. Disabled access room was a large size. Rooms could have been closer together as asked for that. Not much of a selection of breakfast. The room could have been cleaner in the disabled room. One of the double rooms was very dirty with a lot of mould in the bathroom. Disabled access room, the handles for the toilet were extremely high with the right one coming loose from the wall. Very low toilet.

Everything, dirty, the mattress looked like a used sock. Bathroom smelt like bum. We left and went home didn't stay. Write a complaint heard nothing back.
-
Quiet location The room smelled of sewage and even tho a hotel guest you had to pay to park!!
-
I could hear everything/everyone in the adjoining rooms. Couldn’t sleep.

Beds were a little uncomfortable but its hard to beat your own bed

Location, food was amazing. Staff were excellent. Paid for a supreme double room. Bathroom was tiny and door to shower was very small. Coffee in room and at breakfast was very poor quality.
-
Evening meal in the restaurant. Floors very "creaky". I could hear the people above moving about above me. I was disturbed quiet a lot and was woken early with this issue.

Some of the staff were not friendly, while the chamber maid was extremely disrespectful. She placed the clean replacement towels on the floor on the corridor on some old and dirty carpet outside our door. I found that disrespectful and completely unacceptable.

We wasn't made aware of this upon booking the first we heard was when we saw the signs there from which appears to be a private company. I find this charge unreasonably expensive given we were paying customers and staying for 2 nights. We moved our car just outside of the car park in a lay-by out of principle because I found the charge excessive and unnecessary. Also when booking I requested a back room as I find the traffic very loud at the front. Upon arrival the receptionist said if we wanted a back room we should have paid more!. We ended up paying £20 (apparently discounted for us from £40!) to move to a room of exact same quality at the rear of the building.

The location was fantastic, the staff were very fantastic could not have helped any more. The cups at breakfast were not the cleanest, there was only 1/2 a loo roll in the room until asked for more. You pay for parking £10 per night, if you don’t book direct and on our first day we went out but when we got back at about 8pm there was no parking space, we were then told that there was a conference on and there would be parking available as about 10pm…. The rooms are a little tired and when the cleaners are working in the morning they put a phone number n a radiator on full volume for music, when they are on break they sit on a corridor and you have to squeeze past.

I have booked this hotel three years in a row, so it was a bit of a surprise to discover they now charge for parking... at a hotel in the middle of nowhere. It felt like a stealth charge (not helped by an attempt to argue I had not booked my child in for breakfast). I have booked elsewhere next year.

Good location . Comfortable bed. Tired. Rust on bathroom fittings, broken toilet roll holder. Stains on carpet. Woodwork needs painting. Breakfast ok but not hot enough.
