Location is great for young party people though myself and partner wasn’t to put off I can understand why some older people would be worried about noise in the busy season

Location as near a tram stop & not far from station. Couldn't get any food in the hotel apart from breakfast, as there were athletics teams staying there. Told we were lucky to be in as they'd transferred a lot of bookings! Athletes were prioritised for everything. If they couldn't deal with ordinary guests shouldn't have had us. Bar was never staffed, as they were too busy, had to get drinks from self service, which was limited and ask reception for a glass. My pillows were rock hard & I went to reception who phoned housekeeping who said they would bring replacements, they never arrived. We were on 15th floor and one set of lifts were out of order so as the hotel was full it was a very slow process getting up & down.

The hotel location is wonderful — beautiful views and great family locations around. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Upon checking in, the shower gel bottle was empty. The next day, after a housekeeping visit, we ended up with two towels instead of three. During our first breakfast, we found a hair in the food.
