Well located within easy walking distance to the city centre , bars, restaurants & shops. The staff were really friendly & helpful. Great breakfast too. The property was fine itself. There were a few very noisy bars around the area but this didn’t really impact us - once inside it was very quiet.

Central, friendly on arrival. Breakfast was good. Aircon non existent so was hot. Opening windows meant very noise on a sat night due to location. Parking expensive.

Was exactly what we needed, great location. Will stay again . Was the World Cup and England won a game. So was very loud outside till 4am . But no fault of the hotel.

Nothing The hotel is advertised as 4 stars, but it is nowhere near that standard. I cancelled my stay on arrival and was clearly told would receive a full refund, even though my booking was non-refundable. That full refund never came, which is unacceptable. The staff were polite, but it's obvious they are not properly trained, as they gave me incorrect information that directly affected my booking. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

The staff were really friendly and the location was spot on. For £250 per a night, this was miles off. A bed that had the comfort of a piece of cardboard, damp smelling towels in the bathroom, a broken window, intermittent wi-fi signal no air con or even a fan. Impossible to sleep with the noise of slamming doors all evening or the sound of traffic from outside due to the window not closing properly. A 12.5% service charge for a burger, that I ordered at the bar and carried to my eat myself. Overall this was a very poor experience.

Very clean, nice breakfast. We were uograded to an executive room but the bedroom was very tired looking. There was a bleach stain on the carpet. There were no sockets to charge phone at bedside locker which is really strange and had to unplug items on desk the other side of the room. The toilet is separate to the rest of the bathroom and the shower has very high step into it. I’d hate to see a standard room. Definitely not a 4 star.

The only thing I could say I liked was that there was a gym, even though it wasn't great. The bathroom and the toilet being in separate rooms which I found quite ridiculous and inconvenient. Even worse the toilet room (very narrow) had an awful stench of urine even after being cleaned. Perhaps the urine smell was coming from the walls. Normally in hotels you have smaller side lights or lamps you can turn on, this however was just a big light, so you're either in total darkness or you have a big bright light on at night. I was also expecting a double bed instead of two single beds but this could've been an oversight on my part.
