Location. The entertainment on the night we stayed was very good. The bar staff are really nice (especially Alfie) and we always have a chat. The lift makes me worry, it is only a small one.

The reception and staff was lovely. Paying for parking was easy and getting to our room was easy and the entertainment was good . Good location for walking into town centre and good views if you get a seaview room the rooms needs a bit of re doing and TLC but comfortable bed and had everything you needed for one night.

Stay here a lot. Great location. Good breakfast. Great staff. Was good price. Room this time was a bit small. Next time I’ll stay here I will have 2 dogs with me and there wouldn’t be room for 2 dog beds anywhere in the room.

Friendly staff. Plenty of hot water. Private car park. No heating on in the bedrooms of our 1 night stay (night or next morning). Run down in areas, broken upvc windows, and the worst veiw in Blackpool of a broken fan system. Noisy macerator fan kicking in during sleeping hours from room above. Wooden floor as noisy as a flagship.

Comfortable beds Large room Nice bathroom Clean Great location The TV in the room was really small, difficult to see from the beds. The lift was super slow and can only hold 2 people, you could be waiting up to 10 minutes to get up to your room. Poor selection of draught beers and lagers in the bar.

The entertainer on Wednesday was a bit disappointing but Tuesday and Thursdays entertainer was brilliant.

Nice and warm, comfy bed, quiet in the part of the hotel we were in. The entertainment seemed good and other holiday makers were very happy with the bingo and entertainers sounded quite good when we were walking through the reception. Staff were helpful on the whole. Not very clean, don't think it had been vacuumed, thick dust on skirting boards and behind the bin also dirty mirror in the bathroom. Bedroom was not much better, hair bands on the floor which I do not use, lots of hair on the carpet and you could see that around the feet on the table I had trainers on so I dragged all the hair and bits to the side of the room with my foot. Bedding and towels were clean. Bins were not emptied on the second day, so had to take the bag down to reception. There was no apology I was just advised to take it to the bar and they would get rid of it for me. If they are not emptying the bins daily, they need to provide a bigger bin. The breakfast, good selection of cereal, however very over cooked cheap sausage, tasteless watery scrambled egg, however fried eggs were available on request, bacon, hash brown beans and tomato's none of it was hot also cold plates.

Hotel is in a great location and bar / dining staff we're lovely just a shame they have to put up with so many complaints from people not able to have breakfast because the hotel overbooks and can't cope with demand. Lack of sleep.. Every floor in the place screams when anyone moves! The hotel was fully booked so unable to change rooms but I'm pretty sure they were all similar. Every time anyone got up for the toilet in any room above below our to the sides you know about it.. screeching floorboards.. Early wake up calls from the pipes if you did manage to get any sleep..Hot water pipes banging and cluncking when used at 6.30am! Loud enough to give you a heart attack. Such a shame as hotel is in a great location and bar and dining staff we're lovely just a shame they have to put up with so many complaints from people not able to have breakfast because the hotel overbooks and can't cope with demand. We had no breakfast on the second day because we were beaten to it by the masses. And chef said breakfast finished in 20 minutes so by the time he cooked more it would be too late to eat it!! Not impressed ALL food should be available until the end of serving time otherwise change the sitting times to earlier or employ more staff to cope with demand.. Lift is a waste of time only takes 2 people at a time and it's in constant use.. impossible on check in/ out day had to use the stairs to carry everything up and down!
